After meeting up at the Cheese Cake factory, everyone is greeted by the waitress and escorted to their seats. After ordering their drinks, they pick up their menus to decide on what to eat. It's relatively quiet at the table as everyone occupies theirselves with all the delicious selections. Sevyn didn't relaize just how hungry she was until the smell of food hit her hard. One by one, they choose a meal and wait for the waitress to return. Their dad starts the conversation to break the ice.

"What are you two planning to major in when you attend college?" He asks them.

"Physical therapy," Malcolm responds almos immeditately. "After having my leg in a cast for those past couple of months I became interested in what kind of physical therapy others have to go through for more serious injuries."

Stroking his chin, their dad nods his head. "Interesting, I heard that requires a long period of schooling."

Malcolm shrugs his shoulders, "It will be worth it when I'm bringing in the big bucks."

"Ambitious, I like that." Jared smiles, his eyes move over to Ty next. "What about you. What are you planning to major in?"

Ty takes a moment to sip from his cup of root beer before answering. "I'm not sure yet. I'm probably going to enter as an undecided freshmen."

"That's ok, you won't be the only one. What are you interested in?"

"Business. Maybe like real estate or something, you know I'm mainly focused on basketball though. If that doesn't carry me to the NBA then my back up plan in real estate."

Christine looks between her two sons smiling proudly, "It's so weird having this conversation with you guys. Ever since you were young you were so focused on basketball, but now you've broadned your horizons. I'm so proud." She gushes.

Ty laughs, "We know Ma, you've been telling us all day."

Alandra glances over at Sevyn who's gazing around the resturant. "What about you Sevyn? Any plans for college yet?" Sevyn looks up at Alandra who's looking at her with kind eyes. She figures it's because out of all three of them, she's most comfortable with Sevyn. They had their dispute but that all changed when their father finally had a discussion with them about being in eachothers life. Sevyn doesn't hate her, but she doesn't care too much for her either. She only respects her due to the fact that despising her won't make her disappear.

"I've been looking into a few colleges, I'm thinking about majoring in social working or the phsychological field." Sevyn tells her, hoping that Alandra doesn't ask why. She came to this conclusion a few weeks ago before the end of the school year. Her teachers were constantly giving speeches about preparing for senior year and then college, which made her really start thinking about what she wanted to do. At first she considered working in gender studies, but figured she couldn't do much with that. She talked to her therapist, Dr. Grey and realized that she wants to do exactly what Dr. Grey is doing. Helping patients that have been through traumatic events or are suffering from depression. Sevyn suffered from PTSD after her sexual assualt and her parents divorce. Dr. Grey helped her over come the little to no appetite problem and gave her adivce on how to control the nightmares she kept having. Every day Dr. Grey amazes Sevyn by what she can do, and Sevyn hopes that one day she can do the same for someone else who needs help.

Alandra's eyes brighten, "I have a friend that works in that department at the hospital in Newbury, I could contact her if you want more information."

"Thanks, I'll keep that in mind." Sevyn appreciates.

The waitress returns and takes everyone's order, scribbling them down on her notepad then reading it back to them to make sure everything's correct. She disappears once again and the table falls quiet. Jared is the one to break the silence again by asking a question that piques everyone's interest. "What's everyone doing for the summer?"
