After finalizing the list of people attending the beach trip, everyone meets at the Harris's house to go over details. The adults sit in the living room talking with each other while the teenagers hang out in the backyard.
"I'm so ready to get out of Connecticut." Shaun says anxiously. "I'm tired of seeing the same things over and over."
"Imagine the parties we can get into man." Ty comments.
"Imagine the girls we can get into." Shaun laughs, high giving Corey.
Monica smacks her lips, "Is that all y'all think about?"
"What else is there to think about?" Shaun asks. "Y'all should be honored we think about y'all so much."
"It's kind of hard not to." Kat replies, moving a strand of hair out of Monica's face. "We're the dominant gender."
Corey purses his lips like he disagrees. "Says who?"
"Us," Monica says like it should be obvious.
"Oh please, y'all are weak." Ty argues. "Break a nail and your whole life is over."
Miranda gives him a sharp look, "You're talking a lot of trash for someone who can't handle getting hit in the balls."
"That's painful, y'all have no idea what we go through!" Malcolm speaks up.
"Ha!" Miranda laughs. "Try having cramps."
"They can't be that bad." Shaun says.
The girls all give him a look like he just ran over their cat. "Imagine having your intestines ran over by a train. That's how severe they can get." Monica tells him and the girls nod in agreement.
Shaun sucks his teeth, "Y'all over exaggerate everything."
Sevyn watches them go back and forth from where she's sharing a lawn chair with Jackson. "I can't believe you guys are really having this argument right now." She laughs.
"For real," Jackson agrees. "How old are we?"
Monica purses her lips and looks at them. "Alright power couple, since y'all are so high and mighty, who's stronger? Boys or girls?"
"I don't think it really matters," Sevyn replies. "Girls can do anything boys can do and vice versa." Her friends give her a doubtful look. She looks at Jackson to back her up but he avoids eye contact. "Right Jackson?"
He finally looks at her and winces a little bit like he has to be careful of his next words. "Well...I wouldn't exactly say everything."
"Jackson!" She exclaims hitting his shoulder. "We can do everything y'all can do."
"I just think---"
"Hey, lets make this interesting!" Ty interrupts. "Lets make a bet."
"Uh-oh," Talia rolls her eyes. "Here we go."
Ty smirks and leans forward so everyone can hear. "We pick one task for y'all to do and if you complete it then we'll admit that girls can do anything boys can do."
"Nah, lets make this even more interesting." Monica adds in. "If we win, you guys have to dress up as girls and post an Instagram video admitting that girls are the dominant gender."
"Hell no!" Shaun exclaims.
"Alright," Ty ignores him. "But if you lose, you have to put on our basketball uniforms and do the same."
"Deal," Monica holds out her hand and Ty shakes it.
"I should remind you that our uniforms haven't been washed yet." Ty smirks.
