"Good morning," Kat chirps when Monica finally makes it downstairs.

Monica gives her a head nod and yawns.

"I made blueberry pancakes for everyone. There's some in the microwave for you." She continues.

Monica looks her in the eye before walking pass the microwave to the fridge and pulling out the container of milk. She sets it on the counter and takes down a bowl and a box of cinnamon toast crunch. She makes a show of opening the bag inside the box and pouring a large quantity of cereal.

"There's bacon too." Kat tries again.

Monica doesn't say anything before pouring milk into her bowl and takes a big spoon to scoop up some cereal and stuff it into her mouth. She moans like that was the best spoonful of cereal she's ever tasted, then sits at the table.

Kat crosses her arms, "Now you're just being petty."

"Like that's anything new." Monica retorts, rolling her eyes.

"You're still mad at me? It's been two days."

"It's been two days yet you still haven't given me an explanation as to why you did what you did."

"That's the thing, I don't know what I did."

Monica scoffs, "You're really going to play stupid with me right now?"

"I don't get why you're so mad at me. Because I didn't tell you about Jenna? So what, I'm sure you have plenty of friends I don't know about." Kat sits at the table now too.

Monica drops her spoon and meets Kat eyes. "That's where you're wrong. I only have the friends that are in this house, and if I did have other friends, I would have told you about them."

"Well I'm sorry you didn't come up in any of me and Jenna's conversations. The world doesn't revolve around you, Monica." Kat spits at her, and it's the first time she's ever talked to Monica with that much attitude. It only takes Monica a second to recover from her initial shock before her eyes squint at Kat with a disapproving look.

"I never said that the world revolved around me. But as my girlfriend, I expect you to tell me when you've made new friends. Especially friends that are my ex!"

Kat rolls her light brown eyes, "The only reason you're this mad is because my new friend was your ex. It's not like you ever told me about her anyway, so what's the big deal? We were having innocent fun, you act like I slept with her."

"Did you?"

"No!"

"Good."

Kat lets out a heavy sigh, "You're so dramatic Monica. You're blowing this way out of proportion when it's not even that serious."

"No, you just don't understand my point of view. Jenna hurt me really badly, so for you two to meet and instantly become friends, scares me. I don't want you to..." She doesn't finish the sentence because she knows how foolish it sounds, no matter if its really how she feels. Kat watches Monica stare down at her cereal for a moment with her chin resting in her hand. She closes her eyes and sighs before opening them again and looking at Kat. "I hadn't seen Jenna in two years. So seeing her with you, brought along bitter feelings and I got mad at you for becoming friends with her so quickly. I was jealous."

"And you couldn't just tell me that?" Kat asks shaking her head. "Money, I just met Jenna a few weeks ago, how could I possibly feel anything towards her?"

"Because you did with me." Monica says softly.

"Well you're Monica, what's not to love?" Kat chuckles, "Jenna can't compare."
