XXV. The Heart Wants what it wants.

Gail's POV

Bright. So bright. I couldn't see anything but the color of white. My head turning left to right, searching for anything that would be enough to be recognizable. There was a lampshade at the left wing of the room, two unknown bodies next to me, and it didn't take too long to make me realize that Sky, Grey and I are at Cameron's place.

"Shit!" I muttered as I looked for Skylar's bag if she brought her taser, luckily, she did. Thank God! It was a really good thing they both warned me about Cam that he has a condition around girls before we went to the show. The three of us knew he was going to show up as well.

I tried waking both of them as I wiggled Grey harder because she was a heavy sleeper like Liam, Zayn and Ash-- Hell no! I should be thinking of something else.

"guys!" I called out for them as they groaned and whined the same time.

"What?" Skylar says as I chuckled a bit.

"wake up you dimwits!" I managed to laugh after I teased them more just to wake them up. Might as well try to prank them.

I got up and walked to where my purse was as I saw my phone buzzing, probably my alarm. But why would I set up an alarm on a Monday--

"Fuck! No! You guys are late. Its almost your first period." I wiggled them as they woke up from the annoying sound of my alarm.

"Shit, I forgot we had class today," Grey said as she brushed her hair a bit with only her bare hands.

After sneaking out of Cam's house, of course we made a note to say thank you for letting us crash at his place, we got to the girls' house in no time.

The girls got ready and I even suggested to stay here until they get back.

"Y'sure?" Grey asked with her eyebrows furrowed, while scratching her eyes, probably still in desperate need of sleep.

"Yeah, go have fun in school.." I mentioned as they both looked at me skeptically.

"Okay, mum." They teased as they both ran off outside. Wow! Do I really sound like a mom now? That sucks even harder.

I went out to buy some stuff for our movie marathon later at their house. Sky suggested action/adventure movies while Grey offered to watch John Green movies, and me adjusting my way to see who would win.

Maybe I was home sick or something because I feel something crumbling at the pit of my stomach. It was just continuing to shake.

"I told you to eat more.." mentioned Sky. Of course she was the mum now that school was done for the day. I hope she notices how good she'll look when she becomes a mum in the mere future.

"okay mum," I teased as I grabbed the snacks in the fridge. I swear I ate something while they both were gone, right after Ashton called. Again. Grey purposely left her phone after I told them that he called me last night during the show.

The talk didn't really helped out. I was waiting for a convenient and peaceful conversation with him but instead it turned out to be a loud and rough conversation. I was infuriated and annoyed at the thought of him calling me stubborn, that I should listen to him first before shouting at him. Maybe he was right. He even cried on the other end, after he told me he missed me, he missed the old us back then, and after he told me I was the one he truly, deeply, madly fell in love with. Not some girl he just met even though she was nice like me. He explained why he never called, he said they were super busy, the management even told them to not use any social media they have until the break would begin.

I ended the call, again, because it was still confusing to see pictures of him with her laughing around, and it was caught when it was just the two of them alone.

"so how'd the talk go with Ash?" Sky asked, as my eyes widen.

"How'd you know he called?"

"Duh." She held out the history of the calls in Grey's phone that I immediately cleared out.

"Is shouting at each other included as good," I questioned, they started to giggle a bit with how I sarcastically asked that.

"I don't even think so,"  answered Grey with soft giggles after.

We ended up watching The expendables 3, and let me just say it was an amazing time to be with them. I hope Sophia and Jas could come tomorrow on time, so we could all have a girl time since we all missed each other.

I hope nothing bad would happen next.

Ashton's POV

"god fucking dammit," cursed Louis, who is getting killed in their video game. I swear no one could ever sleep in this room with these guys, but I had my ways to have fun with them.

The guys have been lifting up my spirits since we knew about the fucking rumor. I should have never hung out with her, I knew this would happen. But can we first be called friends? God! What is it with this world? Its full of fucks.

They have been trying to make me feel like nothing has happened. And I thank them so much for that but I don't think I can get it out of my head anymore, now that its tearing me and Gail apart. I didn't even want this to happen but it did.

The show just ended two hours ago and I feel a bit tired but I wasn't sleepy, not even a bit. My mind was only thinking of one thing; it was Gail.

"Where are you girls headed?" asked Liam, who is focused on making a tweet but is probably on twitlonger right at this moment.

Sophia and Jasmin were both dressed up in pyjamas. Obviously they're about to go to sleep but they have luggages with them.

"uhm.. we're going to Sky and Grey's place.. We were invited for something.." answered Jasmin, who was stuttering.

Something smells fishy.

"Hey who wants some fish fillet?" Simon, our main bodyguard, interrupted as he bursted through the doors.

That was weird, this day was going crazy as bananas.

"Ash could you pass me that banana? Right there." Harry said as I gladly passed him his all-time favorite fruit. I was going to talk about nuts but I was afraid to. "Jas could you tell the girls we miss them, and give sky my flying kiss." He said as he blew a kiss out of nowhere.

"And my girl too, yeah?" Michael added as he did the same.

I only got jealous because my girlfriend wasn't even close to finding out the truth.

"What about you Ash? No message for Gai-" Jas smacked Sophia at her arm as she covered her mouth with both her hands.

"what do you mean give her a message?" I asked as my senses woke up from reality. Gail was with Sky and Grey. But since when? "Gail's with them, isn't she?" I asked as I stood up, laying my hands on Sophia's shoulders. Looking at Sophia, then to Jas and then back to her again. Both of them looked at each other.

They slowly nodded. "Yeah," Jas admitted, the guys looking at us. We were in the middle of the room.

"Please tell Gail the truth.." I pleaded to them both as they said they would try.

They said goodbye to all of us as they headed to the airport theirselves. I just really hope they would tell Gail the truth.

"Don't worry, lad. She'll know and understand but you just have to give her space. Y'know?" mentioned Zayn, as I slowly nodded. I just hope what he said is true. I just have to give her a moment, that's all. The question is, could my patience get the hang of it? Shit. This was what I wasn't expecting at all. Not one bit.

God! I just wish she knew how I really love her. My love for her is something else, and I couldn't imagine being with someone else than her. My heart wants what it wants and it was her.
