***Khai's POV***

After I seat myself at the vanity table, I glance back at Tyrone once more. He's getting ready to get dressed.

I can't get over how hot he looks. He's always hot, but something about the eye-liner I put on him just hits different.

Probably not just because of the way it looks, but getting to do it myself and being so physically close to him.

I feel like we've bonded so much lately.

If only I was sure that he actually liked me. I might've made a move on him then.

Or maybe not.

I think I probably would've chickened out regardless.

I try not to think about it too much because I need to focus on my make-up now.

I only just start when the mirror in front of me does what mirrors do best, which is reflect everything back so that not only do I see myself, but everything that's behind me, too.

One of those things is Tyrone taking off his shirt.

I watch him disrespectfully through the mirror, gawking at the way his muscles move as he does so.

I really need to get myself together.

Because how am I supposed to be friends with him if he constantly makes me feel like this?

I only just finish my make-up when the stage manager comes back.

"Ten minutes!" She exclaims cheerfully. "How are you making out?"

"Good, we're almost ready." I tell her.

Tyrone walks up and stops beside me.

"Great! By the way, love the make-up." She enthuses.

"He designed everything." Tyrone says like a proud parent while motioning towards me.

"Well you did an amazing job." She directs towards me. "It's sure to catch the judges' attention."

"Thank you." I say.

She smiles at me warmly, then leaves.

"I guess I better get dressed quickly, eh?" I say, turning to Tyrone.

He doesn't reply at first and just appears to be studying my face.

When he does reply, it's not even in relation to my question.

"Khai you look really good."

"Oh, th-thank you." I say, tucking a lock of hair behind my ear and feeling even more flustered now.

I break eye contact momentarily, and when I glance back up at him I say,

"You do, too."

He smiles at me, then places a hand on my shoulder to turn me towards the change area so I don't waste my last ten minutes just standing there malfunctioning.

I laugh nervously before making my way over.

"Uhh... Khai aren't you forgetting something?" Tyrone asks.

He follows me, then hands me my outfit.

"Oh, right. Thanks." I say as I take it from him.

He nods and walks around the room a little, probably to give me some privacy.

I struggle to get my clothing figured out momentarily. For some reason my arms like to get stuck in my sleeves the majority of the time.

It's also a little harder when I'm trying not to mess up my makeup.
