TW: This chapter contains panic attacks and implications of SA
My plans to lock out the memories I don't want to deal with end up failing again when I wake up really shaky and crying because of the nightmare I had.
It felt so real, it forced me to relive everything. It was exactly like how it happened in real life. It was a memory locked away in my subconcious that was brutally ripped from hiding and brought right into the spot light.
The worse part is, I can't get it out of my head.
So even after I wake up, it just keeps replaying over and over, tormenting me with the vivid flashbacks.
I clench my chest, trying to fight the intense anxiety, but it's no use.
The panic encases me, and suddenly I can't breathe and I can't think properly. All logic and reasoning leaves, and my brain just feels like a scrambled mess of dis-concordant chaos. It's like I can't think about what to do, and it feels like the world is ending, or like I'm going to die.

***Khai's POV***
The wolf in my dream looks different this time. It's still brown, but a different kind. The markings are different. It's also significantly larger, and it's eyes are bright green.
"Go to him." The wolf says to me, and though I've never heard this one's voice before, it sounds so familiar.
"Go to who?" I ask.
"Tyrone. He needs you right now."
"Wait, you can hear me?" I ask, excited.
"Khai... don't get distracted. Go to Tyrone as soon as you wake up."
"Oh... right. Is he okay? Is it serious?" I ask, suddenly very anxious.
"He just needs you right now."
I'm about to reply when I suddenly wake up.
That was so weird.
Was it legit? Was it like a premonition dream or was it just nonsense my brain came up with?
I don't think I want to take any chances.
I head downstairs right away, then slip my shoes on.
"Khai, where are you going? You're still in your pajamas! Aren't you hungry?"
Hazel asks me.
"Yes, I am very hungry but a wolf told me to go to Tyrone in my dream and it made me paranoid so I am going to Tyrone's house." I say before leaving.
"Oh honey, don't get lost!" I hear my mom call after me.
I swallow, remembering I'm not exactly a navigational expert.
"Mr. Wolf come back to me, and lead the way so I don't get lost." I say, half-singing.
I pause when I hear myself.
Am I really awake? Or am I still sleeping?
Nothing makes sense right now. Everything is so weird.
Perhaps I should've let myself wake up a bit instead of just stumbling out of bed and wandering through the neighborhood.
There's some strange pull in my chest suddenly. I'm not sure why I follow it, but I'm glad I do because it leads me right to Tyrone's house.
"Whooo! I did it! I didn't get lost!" I exclaim to myself before holding a very short victory party dance. I glance around quickly to make sure no one saw me, then quickly scurry to the door in shame.
