You'd recently become a new addition to the 'Avengers' because of your ability to manipulate fire and also the fact that you were a top class assassin. Fury had found you living on the streets after a fire that you had accidentally created destroyed your home. He took you in and asked you to join S.H.I.E.L.D. You'd already met all of the Avengers apart from Pietro Maximoff, Wanda's twin brother, he was away on a mission when you were recruited and since then you've been to busy to meet him.

You were currently in a training room that was designed especially for you to practice using your powers. The headphones in your ear played loudly, blocking out everything around you. You focused on creating a fireball, aiming it at the fireproof target on the wall. Before you could throw the flame, a cool breeze whizzed by your left side, pulling you out of focus causing the flame to hit the wall.

'What the hell was that?' you thought. You paused the music and took out your headphones. Another breeze came from behind you, you quickly whipped around to come face to face with the one and only Pietro Maximoff.

"Uh, can I help you?" you asked, eyebrow arched. He smirked at you, his eyes traveling up and down your body, inspecting every inch of you. His eyes eventually met yours again, the smirk still etched on his face.

"No, I was just on a run and I couldn't help but notice you. I believe we have not met before," He held out his hand, you brought your own up and accepted the handshake. "my name is Pietro, Pietro Maximoff."

"(Y/N) (Y/L/N)" you said, pulling your hand away from his "It was nice to meet you but I have to get back to training." you smiled, turning back around to the targets.

You focused on creating another fireball in each hand. You threw the both of them, hitting bullseye on both targets. You smirked to yourself, glad to make a good first impression on Pietro. You heard him whizz away behind you, the breeze flying through your hair. You had a feeling you would be encountering him a lot more.
