You tried to make yourself unnoticeable to the surrounding party goers, trying to avoid their sweaty bodies and the smell of their drunk breath. Parties aren't really your scene but you had promised your best friend that you would come with her, what a bad idea that had been. About five minutes after you had both arrived, she wandered off in to the midst of the crowd.
You sipped at the martini in your hand, patiently waiting for your friend to return, though, you knew it would be a while before you saw any sign of her.
You sighed to yourself, placing the empty glass on the bar top, signalling to the bartender for another. He smiled at you sympathetically, obviously taking notice of your lonesomeness.
"It's on the house." He smiled sincerely, walking off to serve the other people waiting on their drinks. You smiled at the small gesture, obviously there was no intentional flirting, it was just him being a kind human being.
You felt a presence to the left of you but paid no mind to it considering you were in a room with about 300 other people.
The bartender headed back over to the spot beside you, serving the person. Your subtly flitted your eyes to look at whoever was standing beside you, you were slightly taken aback to see none other than Tony Stark himself.
A blush crept it's way onto your cheeks when he turned around to find you intently staring at him. A small smirk played on his lips, his brown eyes glistening in the flashing lights. He looked very dapper in his black suit and bow tie.
"Hello, beautiful." And there it goes, the playboy side begins to shine through. Not to mention he called you beautiful which was extremely cringe-worthy, instantly putting you off.
"Good evening, Mr Stark." You returned to sipping your drink, your eyes trained on him. His eyes scanned your body, stopping a little longer than they should have in some places.
"Why are you on your own?" He questioned, picking up his glass of whiskey that the bartender had sat down in front of him.
"I'm not- well I am, but technically not." Tony raised and eyebrow at your answer to his question. "I came with a friend but of course; she ditched me. She's probably drunk dancing with some creep now for all I know."
Tony nodded sympathetically. "I see. Well, you must be pretty bored?" He asked.
"Bored is an understatement." You chuckled, pushing your hair behind your ear.
"Hey! Remember you're at my party, no one is allowed to be bored." Tony set down his drink on the bar countertop. Before you could even speak, Tony began dragging you towards the dance floor. The people moved slightly, noticing that it was Tony Stark who was walking by. A few people looked slightly awe struck. When you reached the centre of the dance floor, Tony began to dance.
"I never asked, what's your name?" He shouted over the pulsing music.
"(Y/N)!" You shouted back, chuckling at Tony's horrid attempt at dancing.
"Beautiful name for a beautiful lady." He winked, beginning to shimmy his hips about.
"What are you doing? Oh my god, that's hilarious." You were slowly losing your breath, Tony's dancing almost had you on the floor laughing.
Slowly the song faded out, followed by many more, you and Tony danced the night away, slowly getting drunker by the hour. Soon the pop songs were replaced by a slower one. The soft sound of the piano flowed through the air. You turned your head to see that it was actually a small band playing.
"Miss (Y/N), would you care for this dance?" Tony over-dramatically bowed at your feet, kissing your knuckles softly.
"Why of course I would, Mr Stark." You accepted, returning the goofy attitude. You felt comfortable around Tony and you had only known him altogether about 3 hours and that scared you.
Tony's hands wound around your waist, settling at the small of your back, instantly causing goosebumps. You let your arms snake around his neck. Your faces were in extremely close proximity, your noses almost touching.
"Hi." You smiled, a small giggle surfacing from your lips.
"Why hello there, beautiful." You blushed at Tony's words. Over the course of the night, you had slowly grown to love having Tony call you beautiful. You both danced to the slow pace of the song, getting lost in each other's eyes.
"I've had loads of fun tonight Tony." You spoke, your voice holding a hint of sadness at the fact you had to leave.
"Me too, (Y/N)." He smiled, genuinely. "Can we see each other again?" He eyes looked hopeful as he awaited your answer.
"Of course!" He let out a sigh of relief. "Who else in New York City has dance moves as good as yours?"
He chuckled at your response, handing you his number. You put it into your phone, making sure that you saved it.
"I'll see you later, Tony." You leaned up on your tip-toes and place a small kiss at the corner of his lips, leaving a red lipstick mark, before walking away.
Tony watched as you walked away, your hips swaying in your tight black gown, your hair that was one up in a fancy hairstyle now cascaded down your back. He waited until you were no longer in sight before heading to his room.
"Man, this women is going to be the death of me." He mumbled to himself, a smile on his lipstick stained lips.

I'm so sorry I haven't update in almost a week. I just started school today and I've been stressing about it for a while. T was absolutely terrible, all the teachers talked about were our exams and how they decide our futures and honestly I could have cried.
Anyways I hope you enjoy this Tony imagine, it's been a while since I've written one for him!
