You had gone almost a year without an incident. Ever since the Avengers found out about you, you had to disappear. They wanted you to join the Avengers Initiative but you declined. You didn't see your mutation as something that would benefit society, something that could be used for the good of man kind.

When you were younger, you signed a contract with an organisation named HYDRA. If you offered your body for experimentation, your family would be given money. The only reason you had signed up to it was because of the extreme poverty your family had been in.

You were experimented on for years, none of the serums properly working on your body. The pain you had endured was horrible but the scientists alway told you that what you were doing was for 'the good of man kind'.

One day, they tried a different serum, as usual it didn't work- just like the rest. That was until later that day. You felt an unexplainable pain soar through your body, screams erupted from your mouth. You felt your body begin to transform. Large latches of hair began to cover your skin. You didn't know what was happening, you were scared.

You remember the scientist walking in the room, dropping whatever was in their hands. Their faces quickly masked with shock and fear.

"Oh my god." You remembered the small, thin German man whisper. You remember the grin growing on his face. He turned to his partner, jumping up and down. "It worked! It worked!"

That was all you can remember. Everything had went blank. Supposedly you- she had killed both the scientists and 13 more agents. You never referred to her as you, because it wasn't you. Sure you're what she mutates from but you could never do what she does. Murder people in cold blood with no second thoughts.

After your escape from HYDRA, you tried to lay low, avoid any conflict that might set her off. You settled in a small log cabin in the mountains, hidden away from civilisation. But of course, there was no way you could possibly murder 13 HYDRA agents and 2 scientists and not have their number one enemies find out about it.

After a month or so in the mountains, a man came to your house. He called himself Nick Fury. Supposedly he was the director of S.H.I.E.L.D. He had asked you about coming to stay with the Avengers. You said no to his offer, knowing that someone as terrible as her is to dangerous and that you cannot control her. It would be risky and non-beneficial to anyone.

A few months later, when you were out shopping for food supplies, you were followed. The two people following you never actually knew you had spotted them. If they were going for inconspicuous then they were doing it all wrong. The woman was a red head with pale skin. The male was slightly taller than her with light brown hair and sunglasses. You soon lost them though, fortunately.

This all leads to now, you were surrounded by HYDRA agents, there was no escape. Your breaths were short and ragged, your eyes filled with panic. This was it.

Let me out

You tried to ignore her voice in the back of your mind, if you let her out a lot of people could die.

Let me out

Once again you ignored her.

LET ME OUT

Her voice roared in the back of your mind.

"No!" You screamed. But it was too late. You started to transform. You felt yourself slowly slip away from reality as she took control. The last thing you could remember was hearing her almighty roar.

You woke up in an unfamiliar room. The walls were white, there was medical equipment around you. You turned your head to the side to see a long haired blonde man at the side of the bed you were lying on.

Your arms and legs had been tied down to the bed, most likely the people that had done this had seen what she could do.

"You're awake." The man so obviously stated. His accent was extremely posh. "Are you okay?"

"Where am I? You questioned, completely ignoring the mysterious man's question.

"You're in the recovery unit in the Avengers Tower." He answered.

"Why? Who are you?"

"Because we found out about you and what HYDRA did to you. We rescued you from HYDRA, but not after seeing your transformation. To answer your second question, I am Thor Odinson." You were embarrassed to know that Thor, and probably the other Avengers had seen your transformation.

"Do not be embarrassed, fair maiden." You blushed at Thor's comment.

"Why did you help me? Why help someone like me?" You questioned.

"Because you're someone who needs help. You need people to trust. We want to help you, I want to help you. You're broken, I want to fix you." He smiled, placing his large hand in your own.

You were shocked at his words, no one had ever been this kind to you. All your life no one had cared for you, it was nice to finally have someone care.
