After the invasion of New York, Loki disappeared. The day Thor was scheduled to return with him to Asgard, he completely vanished. Well, that's what everyone thought. For the past few months, you had been letting him stay in your apartment. It was the last place anyone would expect him to be. The only downside was you were an Avenger, meaning that the other Avengers always came over to your apartment to see you so you always had to keep Loki hidden in situations like that.

"You know, I think that group of mortals are becoming a lot more suspicious of my whereabouts." Loki started the conversation as he ate his takeaway you had ordered.

"Remember, Loki, I am apart of that 'group of mortals' and what do you mean? They're not suspicious." You questioned confusingly.

"When Romanoff and Barton were over the other day, Natasha almost spotted me. I was just quick enough to hide. It's only a matter of time before they do find me and I don't want you to have to pay the consequences."

You began to think about what Loki was saying. If they did find out that you were hiding Loki, you would be kicked off the Avengers Initiative, most likely arrested for some form of betrayal to S.H.I.E.L.D. but it didn't really bother you. You would rather Loki was with you than the way he told you he would have been treated if he went back to Asgard.

After you and Loki had finished your meal, you decided to watch a movie, though neither of you really focused on it, both of you were extremely tired and it was only 6pm. Eventually you both fell asleep, your head on Loki's chest, his arms around your waist.

Both of you weren't an item, you were just kind of a 'thing'. Sure you had both kissed a few times, you both slept in the same bed but nothing had really been confirmed between either of you.

You were awoken by a loud knocking on your door. "(Y/N) are you in?" Natasha?

You abruptly sat up, your eyes wide. "Oh shit." You must have awoken Loki because you felt him sit up beside you.

"What is it (Y/N)?" He asked, his vice still raspy from sleep.

"Shit, shit, shit, shit! I totally forgot the team said they were coming over tonight." You stood up, turning to face Loki.

"You need to hide." You ordered, pulling him up from the sofa.

Before Loki could even disappear, your front door opened. There stood the rest of the Avengers, wide eyed at the sight of you and a 'missing' Loki standing there.

"Oh crap" You mumbled, slowly backing away from the team. You were so done for.

"Oh crap indeed."
