"No, no, no, no. Please, don't." Bucky stirred slightly, awakening to the sound of your desperate cries.

"Adelina? What's wrong?" He shot up, turning to your aid. The lift was still on, giving brightness to the room. Bucky frowned when he saw you asleep.

He knew it would be best to wake you before your energy blasts could do real damage due to your emotional state.

He placed his large hands on your arms, gently shaking you awake. "It's just a dream, Adelina, it's not real. Wake up." He soothed.

"Please, don- Wha..." your murmurs faded off as your body began to violently shake.

"Adelina, wake up!" He he began to shake you harder. "It's me, it's Bucky, wake up!"

"I've got to ge- No, no, no, NO!" You shot up, a blast of energy surging from your body. Bucky was thrown across the room, all of the lights cut out, the rest of the power in the building following suit.

Bucky was quick to jump up from the ground, running to your side, pulling you into his arms. "Adelina, baby." He soothed, rocking you back and forth slowly.

"I'm sorry, Bucky." You apologised, tears still falling down your face.

"It's okay, it's okay." He repeated, pressing a kiss to your head.

There was silence through the room as you regained your breathing, Bucky's heartbeat putting your mind at rest.

"Bucky? Can you sing to me?" You asked, leaning into his chest.

"I don't know if I kn- Wait, I know a song." He remembered. There was silence among you for a few moments before he began to sing.

"Edelweiss, Edelweiss

Every morning you greet me

Small and white, clean and bright

You look happy to meet me

He finished the song. He glanced down, only to find you sound asleep in his arms. He smiled, pressing a quick kiss to the corner of your lips, before laying you down under the blanket, hopefully for a peaceful sleep.
