"Bucky, I can't live like this!" You shouted, rubbing your hands against your face in a frustrated manner.

"Living like what?" Bucky asked, backing away from you after he accidentally pushed into you.

"You think if you accidentally brush against me that I'm going to break, you think every time you go near me that you're going to hurt me." You admitted.

"But I will hurt you, sometimes I can't control myself and I let my PTSD take over me, what if one of those times I hit you?" Bucky spoke, his voice beginning to rise slightly.

"If that happens Bucky, it happens, and there is no one to blame for that but HYDRA for what they did to you. But that doesn't mean you have to treat me like some fragile ornament that would break if you so much as touch it."

"Well I'm sorry, (Y/N). I can't help it." He went quiet for a second, "you know what, I'm going to stay at Steve's tonight, I can't deal with this - with you." He stormed out the room.

"Wait, Bucky, please don't go." You begged, but it was no use.

You leaned against the kitchen counter, slowly sliding down it. You instantly regretted your words but you knew it had to be said, you just didn't expect Bucky to react like that. Tears began to fall out of your eyes as you tried to control your breathing.

Your head shot up at the sound of the front door. "I forgot my ph-" Bucky stopped talking as his eyes settled on you curled up on the kitchen floor, crying your heart out.

"(Y/N)? Oh my god." he made his way over to you, pulling you into his arms, very carefully. "Baby, I'm sorry, I'm so, so sorry."

You rested your head against his chest, his long hair tickling your cheeks. "No, I'm sorry Buck. I shouldn't have been so harsh."

"You were only trying to help, (Y/N)." He soothed, rubbing your back. "Now, how about we put this behind us. We can order a pizza, watch a movie and forget all about this, eh?" He grinned, pushing your hair behind your ears.

"Yeah, I'd like that." You mumbled, smiling up at Bucky. "I'd like that a lot."
