Harry Styles

"That's the most boring proposal I've ever heard." I told Luke after hearing his suggestion. We've been here for an hour now and we still do not have a solid plan.

"Yeh. It's the most stupid one yet." Niall agreed.

"Shut up Ni, your proposal's just as bad as his." I told him and he just pursed his lips.

We're at the board room, in one of my mom's buildings. My parents didn't really take away my liberty of using it, since they think we'll be using it for business-related purposes.

So here we are, wearing suits, looking all proper and professional, and we're here to discuss one very important matter that could change the lives of people around the world: the proposal.

Not just some kind of proposal, but a wedding proposal from me to Louis who's already my husband. It's so important it could probably be the answer to the world's biggest questions.

For the past few days I've been thinking about having a real wedding. You know, with the grand ceremony and stuff. Suits, cocktails, wedding bands, dancing, rings, all in sobriety.

But before we can have all those things, we have to go through the entire engagement process.

I didn't know if I should be the one proposing to him and not the other way around, since I bottom most of the time.

What I do know is that he deserves a great wedding and an unforgettable proposal. So here I am with the boys, planning "the proposal of the century", as Niall would call it.

Louis has been busy for the past few days with the play coming up. He hasn't been spending that much time at home, so I always make sure that when he's home, he's well taken care of.

Now that he's preoccupied with work, I'm taking this opportunity to plan. We can't do this at home, since he might show up anytime, but it's convenient that he's letting me or Liam drive him to and from work everyday because that way, I get full control of his time.

"Okay, but ya gotta admit, my plan's kinda cool." Niall said, resting his hands behind his head.

"That's if they both make it out alive," Gemma spoke up while typing something into her laptop. I'm pretty sure she's updating her fashion blog, but I can tell that she's still paying attention.

It wasn't my plan to include her in the brainstorming phase, but when she heard about Ashton having to go to a meeting for something very important, she called me and told me that I'm going to need someone like her.

I didn't even make an effort in arguing with her, I know I'll never against my sister.

"Liam?" I asked for his suggestion. He was the first person I called when I realized that I should be doing this, but he's been quiet since the meeting started. I was glad when he finally spoke up.

"Harry, you know how Louis is. He wants things to be simple. You don't have to do something grand for him, you already know that he's going to say yes." He said.

"What are you suggesting, then?"

"Prepare a romantic dinner for him? With candles and roses? Say your speech, get down on one knee, pop the question. Simple." He said.

"But that's like...plain. No offense, Liam." Ashton said and he just shrugged. "I just thought Harry should do something a little different?"

"Okay you got ideas, kid?" Niall asked him like he's the boss.

"You know what? Just pull a Christian Gray move on him." Gemma blurted out, closing her laptop and placing both her hands on the table.

"Ah, kinky." Niall said, wiggling his eyebrows.

"Not like that, you pervert. H, you know how to fly a plane, right?" Gemma asked.

"I haven't in a while, but yeah I do." It was true. I learned how to fly planes several years ago when I desperately asked my dad for my own plane. He told me he'd only buy one if I learned how to fly it on my own so I spent so many months just trying to perfect it.

"There you have it. That's how you're going to propose." She said, giving me a lightbulb moment.

There are times when I feel so lucky for having a sister like Gemma and this is one of those times.

"Niall, call Walter and tell him that I want Rocket to be ready tomorrow." I ordered him. Rocket was what I named my plane when I first got it. Quite the dreamer, I was. I've always wanted to be an astronaut. Unfortunately, it didn't happen.

"You're going to propose tomorrow?" He asked.

"No, but I wanna make sure I still have the skills. I wanna show off to him, you know?"

"Okay." He said, dialing the number on his phone.

"Seems like my work here is done," Gemma fixed her things and placed them into her bag. "Let's go, Babe."

She grabbed Ashton's hand and everyone's jaw just dropped as she pulled him out of the room. Not because of Gemma's attitude because she's always been like that, but because we all couldn't believe what we just heard.

Aside from Niall who was talking to Walter on his phone, the rest of us were quiet for a little while, unable to process what just happened. For so long we didn't think it would happen again, but it did.

"Okay I was on the phone and I don't think I heard it right, but did she just--"

We nodded.

"Gashton is--"

We nodded again.

"A ship has sailed again, ladies and gentlemen, and take a look at this wonderful face," Niall pointed at his own proud face, "because this face has launched a thousand ships."

He placed his hand up in the air, and posed as if he's waving a flag.

My phone buzzed just in time as I ended the meeting. Louis was almost done with work and it was time to pick him up again.

I gave a few orders to the boys, making sure everything will be like how I planned it in my head.

I don't want to mess this up, I want this to be perfect for Louis.

He deserves nothing less than perfect.

SHORT CHAPTER, I'm sorry!

Question: Do you think another wedding's necessary? Like, do they really have to do this?
