Song of the chapter:
- Fools by Lauren Aquilina

I opened my eyes and blinked them as my eyes tried to adjust to the lighting of the room. I don't even remember falling asleep last night.

Usually I would get nightmares like the one I had the night Harry left. It was a struggle to wake up from them but when I do, I don't go back to sleep again.

Last night was different. Harry held me through the night, calming me down from my bad dream. I didn't even know how he did it, but I like it.

It's surreal, how I'm actually here with him, with my feelings out in the open and with him reciprocating them. It gives me a sense of comfort, and I know I haven't been this happy in months.

I looked at the clock on the table and realized that I will be late for my class if I don't leave in a few minutes. As much as I love how it feels to have Harry's entire body pressed up against my skin, I knew I had to get up.

"Baby..." I tapped Harry's arm, smiling to myself because I can finally call him that. "I have to go to school."

"No you don't." He replied, holding me tighter. His arm was around me. So was his leg. I tried to wiggle my way out but he won't let me go.

He was spooning me and it's hard to want to go to school when he's literally all over me with a very erect morning wood.

"Harry, I'm a teacher." I said as I lightly slapped him repeatedly.

"Fine. But I'm coming to pick you up okay?" He raised his hand and leg to let me go.

I immediately ran to the bathroom to take a bath. Today's the official start of rehearsals for the play and I can't miss it, not for anything.

As soon as I got out of the bathroom, Harry was no longer in bed.

"Baby?" I asked as I looked around the room.

"Babe, where are you?" I asked again.

"M'here!" He yelled from downstairs.

I went down the stairs and found him there cracking eggs onto the pan. He was so focused at it that he didn't even notice me coming down the stairs.

"Good morning, Baby." I gave him a back hug and reached for the stove to turn it off.

"I like it when you call me that," Harry turned around to face me with a smile on his face. "'Baby'."

I'm not a fan of pet names, but it feels like with him, I could use any term of endearment that I like. It's what's comfortable, it's what feels right.

He put his arms around me and kissed me on the lips. I could get used to this. It's like my heart's just so ecstatic, so elated and giddy and so complete.

I've always been a morning person, mainly because I've gotten used to waking up early for work. I never thought my mornings could get any better.

But now, mornings have become much much better. I'm now looking forward to waking up next to Harry, eating breakfast together, driving to and from school, having dinner, and going back to sleep. With the kind of person that Harry is, I know that even though we have a routine, we will never get bored.
