Harry Styles

[FLASHBACK:

"Bet you were like that when you were a kid," Louis pointed at the kid who was rubbing icing all over his sister's face. It's become a habit for us to cuddle and watch baby and childcare videos since the babies were born.

"Probably. I don't know how I was when I was that little, but when I was like, eight, I liked starting food fights at school. With like. Cupcakes and all the messy stuff. And I always got away with it because my granddad practically built the school. It was small at the time, but it was nice." I wasn't bothered by it when I was a child, but now that I think about it, I hate how they gave me that special treatment.

"I would've hated it if I was your teacher," he was honest enough to say.

"You probably would've, but a lot has changed in the school now. My teachers aren't even there anymore."

"How'd you know? When was the last time you went there?" He asked.

"Yesterday," I told him.

"You took me to school yesterday," he recalled, and wow, was he always this slow?

"Yup. That school." I finally told him.

"I'm teaching in your old school? Like, where little Harry Styles was running around? Where you probably had your first fist fight and your first heartbreak and your first kiss? In that school?" He was shocked. And he looks incredibly cute with that look of amusement in his face.

"Yes, that school. But that wasn't where I had my first fist fight. That happened at home with Gemma when I was like... five? I lost to her, obviously. First heartbreak happened in high school, and first kiss.... yeah. That happened in that school." I remembered, and then I kissed his forehead.

"I can't believe," he was still shocked. "The same school. Wow. That's just--"

"Yeah. I was quite clever, by the way. Like Lux. Had a lot of questions to ask. And I liked hiding." I told him.

"Cheeky," he poked my dimple.

"And I was good at it," I poked him back. "It was probably the only game I was good at, so we played it until I was a teen."

"But you're a giant," he laughed.

"I wasn't always this big," I nudged him. "My growth spurt probably started when I was seventeen, so yeah. I was just hiding a lot. I could fit myself in places and not be found for hours."

It's true. I don't even know why I like it so much, but there's just something about not being seen.

"I used to hate hide and seek," he confessed, "I was more of a runner."
