TRIGGER WARNING:
THEY'VE HAD A LONG DAY SO THEY WEREN'T IN THEIR BEST STATES OK
This chapter shows a bit of Harry's fragility since we've witnessed Louis's breakdown last chapter.
Harry's never been this way in front of Louis, at least not after the accident, so it's interesting to watch how he tries to not tell Louis about their relationship without lying.
Tell me what you think? :)
BTW THANK YOU FOR LAST CHAPTER'S COMMENTS!!! The comment count has gone up!!!! Please keep them coming!!! :)

"Hey, Harry?" I asked as soon as we got inside his car; he was already buckling up when I stopped him.
"Yes, Louis?" Harry replied in the same tone that I used.
"Do you mind if I... I mean, would it be okay if I get behind the wheel this time?" I asked him, my voice almost shaking.
"You mean you wanna drive?"
"Yeah. I mean, if that's okay?"
"Of course it is. But are you sure you're okay? You really want this?" He had a worried look on his face. And I know he's only looking out for me but sooner or later I'm gonna have to overcome this fear. I want to do this.
It's not easy. I can't help but think about how unfortunate I am with all the memories I've got left. I had to stop myself from mentally replaying any memory that's car accident-related. Both my parents died in a car crash and I lost my memory the same way.
It took me a while before answering, actually having an internal debate. This might be the perfect time to recover from the trauma; there aren't too many cars around and I need a distraction.
"I'll stop if I can't do it anymore." I assured him.
"Okay. Let me just... Let's switch?" He waited for my nod before getting out from his side and running towards mine. It took me a long time to scoot over to the driver's side, but I did it anyway.
Harry's sitting beside me, his hand automatically reaching out for my seatbelt. He buckled me up for safety and tapped my shoulder like it's the very first time I'm actually going to drive. I feel like a driving student, with anxiety silently tailing behind.
My palms were sweaty against the wheel and I could almost feel the smallness of the inside of the car-- like this is what it actually feels to have claustrophobia.
I took a couple of deep breaths and composed myself. I have to calm down and trust myself. I can do this.
"You're going to do great, man." Harry said in his deep voice as I started the engine. I can tell that he's also nervous, but he's trying not to show it. I tried faking a bravado but I wasn't strong enough for it to be believable. My grip on the steering wheel was too tight and I felt my shoulders tensed up as I stepped on the pedal.
