"We went through your marriage documents and it clearly states, in fine print, that you have to stay married for at least one hundred days before you can actually get a divorce." I lied to Louis. It wasn't that difficult, knowing him. He probably wouldn't want to check the papers anymore because he's too preoccupied with worrying about it.

I looked over at Zayn and he nodded, immediately understanding what I was trying to do.

A free trial period. That's what I came up with.

We might know Harry a little more than we make it seem to Louis, we know what he's been through and we both know that he's good for our friend. We don't expect them to be in an actual relationship, we just want Louis to learn how to move on like how Harry did.

They don't even have to love like a real couple. They don't have to live together. Knowing Louis, he'd probably just stay somewhere far and never come back until the free trial's over.

We're taking a shot anyway.

"One hundred days? Are you kidding me?!"

"Yes. One hundred days. That gives you... 99 more days. After that, you can sign the papers and get out of the relationship."

"Are you kidding me? Liam, that's more than three months!" He looks like a mess right now, in fact, he looks like a lonely, homeless man than a guy who just got married to a fucking millionaire.

I mean, if you think about it, he really is homeless— he's literally left Hannah with the place he bought for the both of them. He'd be fucking rich if he just threw Hannah out of the flat-- then he'd be left with the apartment and the car.

"How's this: You come and visit Harry, you talk about how you're going to fix this, and then you do whatever it takes to live for the next 99 days. How about that?" Zayn said while handing him a cup of tea to calm him down.

I mean, I can't blame him. Even I would freak out if the same thing happened to me.

Except... you know it won't because I'm not as gullible as he is.

Zayn and I both know that Harry isn't the most kindhearted person ever. In fact, we've heard so many stories about him being a heartbreaker and a playboy. But if his personality makes him stronger, maybe that's what Louis needs. Maybe he needs to learn from someone who knows what he's been through.

Besides, Harry can't be that bad— we know he's kept his friends really close and from what I heard, they're actually really nice and cool. Louis could use a couple more friends. For the past few years he's only been spending time with me and Zayn. He has other friends but none as close as he is to us. We've always been there for him and he turns to us in times of trouble but we'd almost always have the same opinion on everything.

Louis may have changed a lot since he became Hannah's boyfriend, but I know that my bestfriend's still in there. He can be himself around us with no inhibitions, unlike how controlled he is with her.

All those years of friendship and we still didn't know what to do when he came to us after the breakup. It's been more than a week and we've only let him spend the entire day sulking; taking him to the bar was probably the best decision we've come up with, which just how unbelievably stupid we are as friends.

But we've tried everything from computer games to sports, but nothing's enough to distract him.

Maybe he needs someone.
