I spent about an hour downstairs before actually coming up to the room. I know it wouldn't take that much effort to get used to the place, but I just don't understand how I can possibly forget something like this.

My body knows I've lived here before because the floor doesn't feel foreign to me at all. The texture of the couch feels amazing against my skin and the temperature's just right. I can't find anything that makes me feel unfamiliar. It shouldn't bother me, but it does. I just want to remember all this already.

"Hi." I told Harry as I came up the room. He was sitting on the edge of the bed and a part of me is wondering if he's been sitting there the entire time.

"Hi. Um, I'm gonna sleep on the couch tonight. Just get used to the room if you have to. Get comfortable. Your stuff's been sorted in the closet so you can just come in there." He sat up and picked up the folded duvet and two pillows that were stacked beside him.

"You don't have to." I told him. I know he's doing this so I wouldn't feel awkward sleeping beside him, but it's only making it worse.

"Just for tonight, maybe? To get you a good night's sleep for your first night?" He smiled, and I can't argue with him when he looks like he's already made up his mind.

"It's your bed, you know. Your house. You make the rules."

"Lou, the first day you came to live with me you literally made a list of rules and then we've decided that we don't need them. There are no rules. I'll make sure this feels like home to you." He went out the door and spoke up before closing it. "Call me if you need anything."

"Goodnight." I said, and I didn't think I needed a reply until I heard it.

"Sleep tight, boo bear!" He shouted from downstairs. The next thing I know, I was smiling at how completely strange he was.

I hate it because it just works. And everything he does is so unbelievably Harry and I've only known him for less than a month. I didn't doubt how my mind was working. I was remembering in bits and pieces and I couldn't put them together but it's there.

I'm not sure if I could make sense of it, but this house is something. Harry is something.

I walked over to the bathroom and found a bath robe that was monogrammed. It has the letter H written on it. What's strange is that I have the same robe in my closet that's monogrammed with the letter L. I've never really used it but it can't be a coincidence. Harry must've gotten it for me when I lived here.

I don't remember being into friendship robes, or any other friendship merchandise, so it must've happened after I met him. It makes me wonder about the other things I've been willing to do after being friends with Harry. The tattoo must be his influence but I don't think he knows what the dagger means. I also know for a fact that I've been less uptight and a bit more carefree compared to when I was with Hannah.
