In the previous chapter you've seen Louis snap-- how he reacted when he saw how Harry was going to be without him. I'd like to call it his 'floating' phase because he doesn't know where he stands. He doesn't know whether he's supposed to stay or to leave, so he tests the waters.

This chapter represents how Louis is going to be when he's with Harry. It's going to be lighter, since we all know that it's better when they're together.

I know I'm not making sense but anyway here's a fair warning:
Towards the end of the NEXT chapter he'll have to make an important decision.

Louis Tomlinson

I thought it was going to be just one text, but my phone won't stop vibrating. I stared at my phone as the messages popped out one by one.

I'm sorry. Come home tonight, please? I promise I'll be good? xx H

I couldn't do anything without you running around the house :(

I know it's my fault. I'm sorry. I won't do it again, I promise.

What did the frog say to the hedgehog?

Oh no. Not another joke.

"I'm sorry. I know I'm stupid. I love you." That's what it said.

Please please please come home to me. I miss you. xx

And I couldn't stop staring at my phone while I was on the teachers table. I've completely lost my focus and I couldn't function well. It's finger painting day and I have paint all over my body and I don't even care. I miss my husband.

I don't know how I'm supposed to explain it to him. I don't even know if I'm supposed to tell him anything. All I know is that I badly want to see him again. And I should be panicking, but when I thought about being with him, it was surprisingly calm. Harry exudes calm. He has his own way of calming me down even through the hardest of times, and he does it, he does it even when he's not here with me.

I miss him so much that all I've been thinking about all day is having me hold me again like he'd always do. He'd always wrap himself around me like a security blanket. And I need him-- I haven't been sleeping for days because I've been wanting to feel his warmth against my body.

I waited for the day to end because I couldn't wait to get home to Harry. I was counting down up to the last minute like a high school student. As soon as I dismissed my last class, I went out the main door of the building and found him waiting there. He looked up at me and his face immediately lit up. And I didn't think this day could get any brighter with him shining right in front of me.

The heart beats 80 times per minute but I swear that mine beats more than that everytime I'm with him.

"Hi." He walked over to where I was with a big smile on his face. He hugged me and I buried myself in his scent. God, I missed him.

I wanted to cry. I wanted to tell him everything but it's not that easy and I hope it was.

"Did you get my texts?" He took my hand, his fingers fit the spaces between mine perfectly. It was almost like nothing happened.
