Chapter 2/2 of today's update! Make sure you've read the previous chapter!
Louis Tomlinson
We drove for a couple of minutes before reaching the top of a hill. I have no idea what he's up to. A proper Valentine's Day dinner, maybe? Or a picnic? He didn't ask me to dress nicely but I did, I wore one of the shirts he bought for me and he's also dressed nicely, as usual.
My hands are tiny compared to his and it's hard not to notice it when his are wrapped around mine. This is one of my favorite feelings in the world. Being held by him, not worrying about anything at all. It was cold but he was rubbing his thumb against the skin of my hand, warming me up.
We walked up to the peak of the hill and true enough, there was a picnic setup. A big picnic setup with pizza and fruits and sandwiches, and wine.
But that wasn't the greatest thing about the place. You can see the city from up here. The perfect skyline, all of the lights, and the stars, they're all here. No matter how bright the city was, the stars were shining just as bright.
There was a big telescope that was setup just beside the picnic mat and Harry walked to it.
"This is my surprise." He said, taking my hand and making me stand in front of the telescope.
He took a peek into it, adjusted a few knobs, until he found the perfect view.
"Here."
I looked into the lens and saw a star that was shining brightly. Something was different about the star although I can't point it out. It was small, at least not as big as its neighbors, but it's twinkling and it's just breathtaking.
"Remember that promise I gave you, that I'll bring you back a star? Well I did, I bought that one. It's my favorite star and I asked Ashton to do the paperwork for me. Of course I made sure it was the right one, when I went to NASA they showed it to me, along with all the other maths stuff. It's very much like you." He stood behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist. He was holding an envelope that seemed to appear out of nowhere.
"They didn't allow me to name it Boo Bear, but I was allowed to use LS 28 for it. I could've given it a better name, but the rules are strict. I'm sor--"
"Baby. It's perfect. Thank you." I felt myself almost crying. I didn't care about the name. He bought me a star, a star that's high up in the sky, a star that could be seen by people who look up at it.
I turned around to kiss him and I could feel him smile through the kiss.
"You're my star." He whispered to me. And I felt myself tearing up again. Because I know how much stars meant to him and he just called me one. Something that will always be there for him even when it's dark. Something that will always listen, something to look up to.
"I love you." I kissed him again.
He led me to the picnic basket and poured wine into a wine glass. We were looking up at stars while feeding each other strawberries.
"Baby?" I asked him.
"Mm?"
"Do you still wish for things?" I looked at him and he was staring staring straight up at the sky.
"Every night. I wish on you." He answered, looking back at me.
"On me?"
"I told you, you're my star." He laughed.
"What do you wish for, then?"
"Some people would wish for the right person to come. I've always wished for me to become the right person for someone. When you came into my life, I wanted to be the perfect for you." He said, staring back at the sky again. I moved closer to him, hugging his chest closer to me. I could hear his heartbeat as he held me tightly.
