Dean×reader

Third Person's View

"Daddy?" A little girl asked for attention. She had just been coloring in a book. It was quiet time for her dad.

"What is it, Mary?" Dean asked her 4 year old.

"What is that thing on your arm?" She asks innocently. Dean repositioned himself in his chair. He had been constantly searching for anything on the Mark of Cain.

"Nothing baby girl." He replied but that wasn't good enough for Mary.

"Mommy says that it makes you angry sometimes and that it hurts sometimes."

Dean closed his book. Anger boiled in his veins.

"What is on your arm, daddy?" She gave him puppy eyes but the rage bubbled over.

"Shut up about the fucking mark Mary!" Fear etched on Mary's face. She ran off to find her mom.

"Mommy!" She screamed down the hallways.

Your Point of View

I had just been talking to Sam about Dean's Mark until I heard Mary Jo Winchester scream down the hallway. She entered the kitchen with tear streaks running down her face.

"Mommy!" She ran up to me and I picked her up.

"Baby, what is wrong?" Her lip quiverred in fear and I know exactly what happened. Dean. "Was it daddy?" She nodded her head putting her hand up to her mouth. I looked at Sam.

"Dean has never yelled at her before." He stated and it scared me. I had a baby on the way. I was 8 and a half months in. I was close to my due date.
"Sam, I need to leave. It won't be safe for the newborn. Could you distract Dean while I pack some stuff up?" He had thought about it. "Please Sam. Just until he gets better."

"Fine, but I don't know how long I can hold him." I smiled at him before heading to Dean's and my shared bedroom. On the way I passed the nursery we had built for the new baby. We had neutral colors because I thought it was better to have a surprise. The baby was healthy and that is what mattered the most. I grabbed a duffle bag and started stuffing clothes and more items we would need for a couple weeks. I picked up the phone and dialed a friend's number.

It rung twice before they picked up.

"Hello?"

"Garth, I need a favor. Is it possible I could pay you to stay at your place. I think Mary needs a break."

"I would be more than happy to have your company over!" He was excited.

"Thank you Garth."

I grabbed the duffle bag and started walking out until I hit the library. Dean stood in the doorway. He observed the duffle bag and looked up at me.

"Where are you going?" I noticed Sam wasn't around. He was supposed to distract him.

"Just at a friends house for the night."

"Liar!" He yelled and Mary hid behind me. Dean swiped the books off the tables and onto the floor. I put the bag down and Mary sat by it. I made my way to him.

"Dean-"

"Where the hell are you going!? Answer me!"

"Look we are leaving for a couple of weeks until you can calm down." I tried to remain calm.
