There's another loud knocking at the door but instead I curl up on the sofa with the blanket again. Whoever it is they're desperate to get in. I just hope they give up at some point. Soon preferably.

The door opens I sit bolt upright, my hand at the ready to form a fireball.

Emma stands in the middle of the hallway and looks at me with sympathy in her eyes.

"Emma, I'm not in the mood for hope speech" I sigh

"I'm not here to give you one, even though it looks like you need one. I came to see if Henry was here" she replies

"Yes, he's upstairs getting ready for bed" I nod

"Right" she replies, sitting down on the sofa beside me

"How you holding up?" she asks

"I'm dealing with it" I shrug

"You know, I can help you deal with it" Emma suggests

"Miss Swan, I assure you I'm fine! I don't need you're care or comfort, I've been through pain before and I've gotten through it" I snap at her

"I was just trying to help" she says

"I know, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to snap at you" I reply, regretting what I said

"Well, I'll leave you to it. Tell Henry to text me when he wants picking up" Emma says after a while

"I will do" I nod

"I'll see you later, call me if you need anything" Emma smiles

"Thanks Emma" I nod, meaning it

She nods back in reply and shuts the door behind her.

Swanqueen moment (ish). I had to include the 'I'm not in the mood for a hope speech' because it's one of my favourite lines that Regina says. Comment your thoughts/opinions on this chapter and thanks for reading!
