I hear Robin shouting my name and I run back into the vault to find Regina on her knees, water lying in puddle at her feet. Her eyes are squeezed shut and she's rocking back and forth in pain.
I shrink to my knees beside her and try to move her so I can examine her. But she's not moving.
"Regina, I need you to lie back for me so I can check you" I say to her
I feel her whole body flinch as I insert my hand into her very sore area.
"Sorry sis" I apologize
She relaxes when I'm finished, but Robin doesn't. He looks at me with genuine concern for his soul mate in his eyes.
"You're only five centimetres, Regina" I announce
She throws her head back in frustration and starts to cry.
"Hey, come here" I say, pulling her up and wrapping my arms around her
She continues to cry and cries even harder when a contraction comes on.
"Shhh, it's okay" I whisper to her reassuringly
"I can't do this" she blurts
"Regina you're nearly done, I promise it won't be long now" I say
She nods Robin and I help her back to bed...
