Regina finally believed me! And now Emma. I know because I got a text from her not long after we left the sheriff station, apologizing for her accusing me of doing such a thing to Regina.
Now that I'm back I've put Regina on bed rest for a couple of days. She only has a couple of weeks left until the baby's due and I want to keep her away from any strenuous activity. She offered to help me with dinner, thinking I'd burn something but I told her I could do it myself.
I'm making her favourite meal, lasagne! It's not her recipe, it's a ready meal that I found in the freezer, along with some cookie dough ice cream for afterwards.
Once it's ready I dish it up onto two plates and carry them both in, setting one down on her knee.
"Thank you" she smiles
"You're welcome" I reply
