Finally, I reach the door to the staircase that leads up to the apartment.
I climb the stairs carefully, one by one, taking my time so I don't pass out.
I stop at the top of the stairs and take a deep breath before knocking on the door. The cramps, churning and dizziness worsening.
Please someone just answer the door before I pass out!
