Zelena takes me to the bathroom and sits me down. She goes into the bathroom cupboard and grabs the bandages, healing ointment and some burn cream.
Before applying any of them, she analyses the burn carefully. She puts her clean hands on it and I flinch at the pain.
"Sorry" she says
"Is it okay?" I ask
"You're going to be fine, but we're going to heal it naturally, not with magic" she replies
"But magic is so much quicker!" I moan
"Magic is dangerous to heal burns with, especially one as severe as that!" Zelena points out to me
"How do you know?" I frown
"Because I had a burn before, worse than that and I used magic and it got infected which made it worse" she sighs
"Fine, do it the natural way" I give in
"Thank you" she nods
She grabs the healing ointment that's beside her and puts two drops directly on the burn, where the pain is the worst.
"Ow!" I whisper
"Sorry" she says
Then she applies the burn cream which makes the whole thing sting like mad, but I bite my lip.
She grabs a bandage and wraps it around the burn, concealing it.
"All done" she smiles
"Thank you" I nod
"Now let's get you to bed" Zelena says
She helps me up but I feel something strange in my stomach and sit back down.
