I breathe a sigh of relief as I feel the baby slide out of my body, the pain dying. I fall back into Robin, breathing heavily. We wait nervously for the sound of a baby's cry.
After what feels like forever we finally hear them and tears of joy and relief run down my face. All my hard work paid off.
"You have a healthy baby girl!" Zelena announces
I watch as Robin's face light's up with happiness
"Is she okay?" I ask even though Zelena's just told me she's fine
"She's perfectly fine, I'm just cleaning her up" She nods
I wait patiently as Zelena wraps our daughter in a blanket and then passes her to me gently. She's perfect, the most beautiful baby I've ever seen.
"Look what we did Robin" I whisper to him
He kisses her forehead softly and then pulls me in for a kiss on the lips
"Now, what are we naming this little one?" Robin asks
I look at her beautiful face and instantly have the perfect name for her.
"Amelia Hope" I say
"I love it" he smiles, kissing me again
"Welcome to the world Amelia Hope" Zelena smiles, tears in her eyes
"Thank you, for everything" I smile at her
"It was my pleasure" she smiles back
She sits beside me as I wrap my arms around her, being careful not to squash Amelia.
Yay it's a girl! The story is nowhere near finished guys, I'm doing a plot twist! Thank you for all the baby name suggestions and I loved all of them! While I remember, I might not update tomorrow as tomorrow would have been my dad's birthday so it's a difficult day for me, but it depends how I feel.
