Goodnight and sweet dreams.
Goodnight and sweet dreams, my darling,
and sleep away your fears,
in your blanket like sheilds,
that protect you from the cold,
that threathens to break your soul.
The wonders of the world,
is so much more lovely,
in the dark.
Good night and sweet dreams, my dear,
as you hide away your pretty sweet lies,
that no one can see,
for the daylight is gone now.
They say darkness is evil,
and light is good,
but what will the light do us any good,
when we have light to see all the evils of the world,
when in darkness you are left to sink into,
sweet ignorant bliss, for you can not see.
Good night and sweet dreams, my darling,
please don't wait for the sunrise,
stay in dreamland forever,
for I'm scared you will see my terrible lies,
and hear her torturous cries.
