Seeing faces I haven't seen,

going places I haven't been,

hearing these voices,

seeing these smiles,

the familiar feeling comes to me,

and I'm home again.

All different but the same,

I'm different but you look at me the same,

A familiar feeling comes to me,

the warmth, the safety,

and I'm home again.

Your hair falls the same way,

your hugs still firm, strong and warm,

the colour of your eyes hasn't changed,

accent still forever the same,

almost foreign to me now,

though it lets me know,

I'm home again.

I feel like I've travelled far,

down a one way road,

rough and bumpy,

lonely and hard,

though it was worth it,

to take a right way back to you,

and I'm home again.

Though I've met new loves, new friends

and had a new life,

I don't regret coming back,

I can finally relax,

I'm home again.
