REN'S POV

"Seren.."

Hinila ko ang unan ko at niyakap ko, my eyes not leaving the television.

"Seren.."

I grabbed my bowl of popcorn and took a handful of it and allowing it to disappear in my mouth.

"SEREN!"

"OH PLEASE STOP CALLING ME THAT! MAS MALALA KA PA SA NANAY-NANAYAN KO EH." Reklamo ko sakanya.

She's Amber Victoria Ross. She's been my closest friend here in the sorority house, but this doesn't mean that I'm gonna allow her to ruin my mood.

I am so mad with Skye last night and also that fucking guy named Chaos. I hate everything right now that's why I am wasting a day of my life watching The Longest Ride.

"Seren.."

Binato ko sakanya ang bowl ng popcorn ko. "Stop calling me that!"

She just laughed at me while giving me a wink. Clearly sanay na siya sa attitude ko. I have this hobby of destroying things when I feel too much of a certain feeling.

"Ano ba dapat itawag ko sayo?" Iniinis talaga ako ng babaeng ito. "You know that I want to be called Ren." Inayos ko ang higa ko at binaling ulit ang atensyon ko sa tv ng kwarto ko.

"Ikaw si Serenity Janine Sah diba? I can call you Seren because it is part of your name."

Ano bang pinaglalaban ni Amber dito? Why are we debating about my fucking name?

"Yeah. Yeah call me Seren so that you'll remind me of my dumb stepmother." I bitterly said.

Alam ni Amber na ayaw ko sa pamilya ko kaya natahimik siya. The main reason why I joined the sorority is to have a home away from them.

Umupo si Amber sa tabi ko kaya umusog ako. "Oo na Ren na itatawag ko sayo. Baka masipa mo pa ako palabas." I laugh at her.

"So di ka uuwi? Summer vacation ngayon." Niyakap ako ni Amber. Damn clingy. "This place is my home, so I am staying."

I heard her sigh but I don't mind about it. Matigas ang ulo ko. I don't listen to others that much.

"I wish that I can be with you right now but I'm kinda homesick." Tinuro niya ang maleta niyang nasa may pinto ko. I just nod at her. "Its okay. I'm okay."

"Aren't you gonna accompany me downstairs?" Kinurot niya ako, sinapak ko naman siya. "Busy." I looked at the tv.

"Ang daya." Tumawa nalang ako at pinatay ang tv ko. Kinuha ko ang robe ko na nakasabit sa chair ko. "Come here bitch. Dalhan mo ko ng dried mangoes pag nakabalik ka from Cebu, okay?"

Dali-dali naman siyang tumayo at hinila ang mga maleta niya. Pagkalabas namin sa room ko ay nagkakagulo rin yung mga Zeta sisters na uuwi.

Paglabas namin ay andun na yung cab na nirent ni Amber. Nagpaalam na siya sakin.

"Okay ka lang ba talaga? Nakapagusap ba kayo ni Skye?" Kahit di ko naman sinabi sakanya yung buong nangyari kahapon ay alam niyang nag-away kami ng boyfriend ko.

"Parang di nasanay. We'll be okay. Take care Amber." I gave her a kiss on the cheek then wave at her.

After Amber left the house seems so lonely only a few sisters of mine are left kaya nakakapanibago ang tahimik na bahay.
