Hey! I'm finally out of school. So happy about that. Well, I got news. I am making a sequel for this story. I asked you what you thought the name was but apparently no one has any idea.
Any guess?
By the way, here comes the first detail about the sequel: for those of you who wanted Laura to meet the boys, she will. Stay tuned for more details!
Well, with that said, here you have the chapter, an amazing song and hopefully a lot of votes and comments from your part?
49 - 'Breaking Bad'
“Well, this was fun but you need to rest,” my dad commanded as he tucked me into my bed. “We will come tomorrow early in the morning to talk to the doctors and see if it is okay that you go out,” he added.
He had a serious expression. I could tell he was nervous about my health state but I was just fine. And it was not debatable; I was going to that airport tomorrow, no matter how my health was.
“Come on dad, I already talked to them,” I complained, suddenly getting all defensive. This was something that really mattered to me and I was not letting go of it. I knew he was going to try to stop me from going to the airport with the boys, and that bothered me because I was tired of being treated like a little kid.
“But I will talk with them again.” I saw the determination in his eyes, so I gave up.
I groaned annoyed as I rested my head back onto the pillow. “Whatever.”
“What?” He narrowed his eyes at me. I turned around to face him and gulped. Anything and everything I said in the following seconds could affect the rest of my adolescence. What adolescence, life!
I omitted his gaze, praying to God that he would believe me the first time. “Nothing.”
“You bet,” he said coldly. He was a man not to mess with.
“Bye honey, see you tomorrow,” my mom chirped, getting in between before things got worse.
“Bye mom,” I replied tiredly. They both kissed my forehead and my dad stretched a handshake with Niall. That was good, that meant he respected him and like him as well.
They left the room, arguing as my mom scorned my dad for embarrassing me in front of my boyfriend. I felt my cheeks burn a bright and intense red as Niall sat next to me, both of us hearing the whole conversation loud and clear.
“They seem great,” he appeased as he got his arm around me. I could see he wanted to laugh so badly but he was trying not to.
“You could say so,” I replied, taking a deep breath in.
That seemed to be the cherry on top for him. Immediately, he started laughing that lovely way he always did and soon enough I started laughing with him. At least he did not think I was a dork –even if I actually was one. “Good, I thought you would think I was a dork,” I told him, voicing my thoughts, when I finished laughing.
“I would never think you are a dork. You are funny, and hell you are weird, but never a dork. You are a princess, my princess,” he responded.
I felt my cheeks burn red once again, but this time it was good, not because of any embarrassment from my parents, but because Niall had called me his princess. I accommodated myself in his arms and quickly fell asleep. I did not want to, but I had had a busy day and I was really tired.
I shifted comfortably, feeling a strong chest underneath my body. I held tightly against it, loving the feeling. It was like as if I was in a movie. Then, I felt a hand stroke my hair, play with it as if it was meant to be this way. I exhaled happily and then opened my eyes only to meet a beautiful pair of blue eyes. They smiled at me and a voice followed them.
“Good morning, baby.”
“Good morning.”
I slightly moved, since we were so close and there was not really any need for it, and pecked his lips with a gentle and brief kiss. He moaned happily and then exhaled as we broke the kiss, filling me in with his scent. I held even closer against him, if it was possible.
Soon enough, his phone started buzzing. He groaned and checked it out. He rolled his eyes and placed the phone on the table next to us as if that way he could prevent this from happening. But we both knew what day it was, and what would happen now.
“What is it?” I asked even though I already knew the answer.
He took some time to answer. I knew he knew neither of us wanted to hear what came next. “Richard is already bugging me about going to the hotel to get my stuff ready.”
“Oh…”
Silence invaded the room.
“Would you like to come with me?” he asked after a while. His voice had changed, as if he knew there was nothing he could do to avoid it and the only thing left was for us to embrace it.
“My parents are not here yet,” I pointed out in a low voice, almost to myself, as if that did not really matter.
A smile appeared on his face. “Let’s escape,” he suggested with a sly grin.
“Niall!” I screeched, looking disapprovingly at him.
“What? Come on, they know where we are going,” he rebutted.
I narrowed my eyes at him, pondering my options. I really wanted to go with him and be as much time as I could by his side. I had always been too good. I never smoked, never did drugs, never had a boyfriend, barely even went to parties and I studied like a nerd –probably because I was one- so it was probably time for me to get out of that shell and explore the dark side for one day...
“Okay, let’s go,” I agreed with a giddy laugh, feeling like a complete rebel by the mere act of agreeing to ‘escape’ with him.
“Yes!”
He did a mini Irish dance, celebrating my positive response, and kissed my cheek. I had already my clothes on so we quickly got out of the room and walked down the hallway into the elevator, praying no one would see us. An SUV was waiting for us outside, ready to get us to the hotel. At this moment, at the sight of that fancy car and the air of greatness that came with it, I felt like a pop star.
Well, I was dating one after all.
