14 - Fighting In The Elevator & Preparing For Terrible Stories

I sighed as I turned off the alarm clock. I woke up at the time I was supposed to today. I did not want Zayn Malik yelling at me again, I would rather have him doing other things, like telling me I am beautiful or something like that -control your dirty thoughts, please.

But I certainly do not want what happened yesterday repeating itself ever again. That was kind of traumatizing. Okay, really traumatizing. A traumatizing and humiliating experience I do not want to have to go through again.

It was a shocker for me. But seriously though, what was I expecting? Famous people are never as they seem to be, they appear to be the best people in the world and obviously they are not, which is kind of heartbreaking for me because I would have given my life for those five boys before yesterday. But if you asked me the same question today, I would take my time to answer. I know it is quite stupid to believe someone is perfect, but I am fifteen and there are some fairytales I would love to be true. Sadly, as time goes by I am forced to realize nothing is like in the movies, nothing and no one is what they appear to be.

It is weird though, because the One Direction guys were the ones that broke every single rule and assumption about celebrities. They were the ones who had never changed because of fame and the ones that stayed true to themselves. And after spending some time with them, I realized they were even sweeter and funnier than what they showed in the cameras, besides finding out they got really tired as well, but they never ceased to have a good time. Niall was even sweeter than he appeared to be and so did the rest of the guys.

So, why was Zayn any different? Ugh! Does he have some personal problems or is he just the exception in the band, the guy that does change because of fame?

I got half an hour before I had to, to work. I had to be cautious or I would be fired. Even though he was incredibly mean and rude in the way he pointed it out, Zayn was right. I had to do my job and I had to do it right. It was the fair thing to do.

I said good morning to Kennan as I walked in and he waved at me. I lost no time and walked rapidly past him. I knew he would want to talk about what happened yesterday. I didn’t, it was as simple as that.

I got into the elevator and clicked the button to the seventh floor. As the doors closed, I saw Zayn entering the front door and saying hello to Kennan. I gulped, he made me really nervous. He intimidated me, actually. Now more than ever.

I heard the cling of the elevator announcing it has arrived to the seventh floor. I exit it and make my way to the room Lux and I share. I do the things I always do since I am a routine person once I get in and put my stuff on top of the bed. I go back into the hallway and make my way to the elevator. I push the button for the nineteenth floor and I hear the cling announcing the elevator is here and get ready to get in, waiting for its doors to open.

I freeze once they open, though, when I see a sexy black haired boy with a tough look plastered on his face in front of me. Crap! His eyes meet mine and I feel as if they are telling me a story, the story of how they kill me. I feel my hands start to sweat and my body trembling. I hoped it was only slightly trembling, though. I did not want to seem too weak. I just wanted to seem a little weak. Pathetic, right?

The doors begin to close and I quickly hop in, immediately regretting it once I am inside. But my fear of staying in the middle and being hit by the doors overtook me. I had watched many movies where that had happened. Of those dumb ones in which everyone gets killed, where they show you exactly how it happened and that are bloody as heck. I can imagine how they would show a death in the elevator; they would show exactly how the person gets slammed in two. It was a gross image.
