Chapter 40

I knew it. Here I am sitting on the couch while Mathew is standing in front of me yelling about my hair and tattoo. He's been talking for 30 minutes and won't shut up.

"Matthew it's not like you yell and Jc or Kian for getting a tattoo. Your not dad so stop trying to act like him!" With that I grabbed Jacob and Andrea and we went upstairs.

I hate fighting with him but he isn't dad. I wish my dad was here but I also like having my brother. He needs to stop and realize I am 21 and not a little kid anymore.

I really need to talk to lainey. She went home yesterday cause her parents are home again. She had to go to school today with Hayes. She is the only person I talk to about all of this besides Hayes and Cameron.

They left about a hour ago. I miss them already. All the boys are gone cause they are shopping for new clothes for tour. And I'm home alone with Jacob and Andrea.

We were about to finish expelled when I got a phone call from an unknown number.

L-hello?

U-yes it this Lina Espinosa?

L-yes it is. Who is calling.

U-this is canyon ridge here in chino hills.

L- okay why are you calling.

U- we are here to inform you that lainey Dallas will be moving in with you and her brother.

L- why and who is her brother?

U- her mother and father were found dead when the jc penny's got caught on fire and it says in her records that a boy named Cameron Dallas is her brother. She was adopted by a kelly and Jacob Watson.

L- okay well her brother doesn't know that she is his little sister but I live with him so I will tell him and her. Thank you for calling.

U- your very welcome I'm so sorry for her lose.

With that they hung up. I need to go tell lainey now. I will pull her and Hayes out of school for the rest of the day.

"Andrea I'll be right back I am going to pick up Lainey and Hayes and Cameron." I picked up my keys and slid on my mint green vans. I had on a black v-neck and short white shorts.

"Ok but why. And do I need to watch J?" She asked watching me as I tie my shoes.

"That was the hospital that called. Lainey's parents died in a fire that happened in jc penny's but not the one in the mall. And I found out that Cameron is her older brother. And this is why she has the same last name. She was adopted. And no I'll take him with me." I answered all her questions and left with Jacob.

I put Jacob in his car seat and drove to the mall. I got out and took Jacob with me (of course). I ran inside and found the boys eating at the food court.

"Cameron I need you to come with me. I have some really big news." I grabbed his hand and pulled him to my car. All the boys looked really confused as I pulled a terrified cam behind me.

We got to my car and Cameron got in while I put J Into his seat. I got in and put the keys into the ignition and started driving to the school.

"Where are you going Lina?" He has been asking me the same question for about 20 minutes now and I haven't said a single word to him.

I arrived at the school and told Cameron to stay with J. I went inside and called out Hayes and Lainey. I signed my name saying I was the one who is signing them out.

I was waiting in the hallway when I saw them go to their lockers. They put their books up and grabbed their bags. They walked down the hallway holding hand until they reached me.

"Hey guys. Come on we are going home. I need to talk to you guys." They nodded and we walked to the car.

They got in and saw Cameron looking really confused. We all got in and buckled up. I started driving home and started crying.

"Lina are you okay?" I felt a hand on my shoulder and turned to see Hayes. I nodded and pulled up to the house. We all got out and Cameron got the baby.

Hayes came over to me and hugged me. I just cried into my little brothers chest because he is taller then me. I cried for a good 10 minutes before I realized I need to tell them.

We walked up to the door and Hayes squeezed my hand in a comforting why. I slowly opened the door and told Lainey cameron and Hayes to go to the barn.

Once we got there and I unlocked it and let everyone inside it felt like 100 questions being thrown at me.

"Guys shut up for a minute! Ok, I got a call today from canyon ridge. They wanted to tell me that. Or tell Lainey that um your parents died in a fire." She looked heart broken. I didn't want to tell her but I have to.

"What? Where will I go? Please don't make me leave you guys! I don't want to leave. you guys are my only family now." She looked so scared and Hayes was being an amazing boyfriend and holding her.

"No sweetie your not leaving. Your moving in with your big brother." She is confused and it's so cute.

"Um Lina I don't have a brother?" This is going to be a cute moment cause her and Cameron have always been close. Not as close as me and cam but close.

"Lainey. Meet your older brother Cameron Dallas. I know you may not believe me so that is why I got the adoption papers that your "parents" signed. And Cameron's or your parents want to come down and meet you." She looked happy yet confused.

"Your my little sister that "died" in the hospital? I finally found you. Come here." He had his hand over his face and Lainey came over and hugged him.

This was the cutest brother sister moment since Nash and Hayes falling asleep together with teddy bears.
