Chapter 23: Battle for Team B

"All students from Team B, please step in front." -Minzy called them out. The boys exchanged looks with Lee Hi, Hanna and Soohyun and they gave them a supportive nod. The boys stepped in the front stage and the girls waited for the results backstage

I hope my team gets a good result. Jinhwan worked so hard to help all of us in our performance.

"The winning team is Team B.I." -Minzy said and Lee Hi sighed in relief. Hanna and Soohyun congratulated her

"All three members of you team are safe. You may return to the backstage." -Minzy said and the boys hugged each other and went backstage.

I'm really nervous now... Jinhwan will have to lose at least one member from his team...

"Team Bobby..." -The President said and Hanna gasped as she held Soohyun's hand tightly, without even realizing it. Soohyun chuckled litly

She really bonded with Chanwoo, June and Bobby. She must really care about them.

"Your team delievered a good performance, but one of your members didn't really stand out." -The President said

Wait... One member?! That means--

"Jinhwan, your team is last. Jinhyeong and Yunhyeong will be batteling each other, as well as the weakest member from Bobby's team." -The President said and Soohyun was speechless

Oh no!

The camera panned towards Jinhwan who was starting to cry

I wish I could just run up and hug him. It hurts to see him like that

"The weakest member from Bobby's team is Koo Junhoe." -The President said and all the students gasped.

"WHAT?!" -Hanna yelled out

Wow... I didn't expect this. Chanwoo was really good too, but June had such a good stage presence

"All three members please step in front." -The President said and Jinhyeong, Yunhyeong and Junhoe seemed nervous.  Junhoe sighed and then Bobby gave him a hug

"It's my fault. It's all my fault." -Hannasaid as she stared at the TV in disbelief

"Don't say that! You were amazing and all of your teammates were amazing. But this is a competition. And I hate that it is..." -Soohyun said as she wrapped he hand around Hanna. Soohyun was trying not to cry, but then she saw Jinhwan crying and she couldn't stop herself. Hanna and Lee Hi both comforted her

"Out of these three students, one will be in Team B. The other two will no longer be in the top 15. Now, I'd like each of you to sing a song. Bonus points if it's an original." -The President said with a evil smirk

"Let's start from Yunhyeong." -Minzy said and he stood in the center and took a deep breath. Soohyun's heartbeat quickened

I hope he does well. I don't want him to leave.

He tried singing a song, but since he was nervous, he messed up.

"I apolgize. I'll start--"
