Chapter 31: Don't Cry

Several weeks passed since Bom and Top spoke each other for the first time in years. Bom sat in classroom and waited for Daesung and the students to arrive

He felt sorry for me, yet he's going through hell himself.

-Bom thought about the day she hugged Top

After we hugged, someone entered the house so we quickly broke away and it made things even more awkward then they were before.

Top and I never dated, but we were always flirty towards each other. However, as time went by, we grew distant from each other. I even had a serious relationship with someone. He even proposed to me and I said 'yes'. It felt like things couldn't be any better, but then... he got ill. At first I thought that it wasn't that serious, but his condition got even more serious  in just a few weeks. I knew that it was over. He became weak and angry at the whole world.

In a month, he died and I felt like my entire life lost it's purpose. He was the only man I ever truly loved. He was my one and only. Ever since then, I have been going theough a hard time which is why Top felt sorry for not being there, but I understand why. He was going through a hard time, too. He was more lonely than I was since I at least had my parents, Jiyong and Taeyang.

Bom sighed and looked through the window. She saw two of the top 15 students walking together laughing. The boy was teasing the girl who seemed annoyed by him, but then they looked at each other and Bom smiled

They're very much in love with each other. Him esspecially... It reminds me of my relationship.

Tears started streaming down her face

Damn it. My makeup will get ruined.

She heard the door open and quickly wiped away her tears.

"Bom?" -She recognized Daesung's voice, but wouldn't turn around

"Oh, hey..." -She awkwardly said

"Are you okay?" -He asked in a concerned tone

"Couldn't be better!" -She said and heard him approaching her. He turned her around and realized that she was crying

"Did something happen?" -He asked with a concerned look

"No... I just have a lot on my mind." -She said and Daesung sighed

"How about you skip today's class. Go home and rest." -He said and Bom was surprised

I didn't know he cared...

"N-No..." -She said

"I insist." -He said and she smiled

"Thank you." -She said and he nodded with a smile.

"What are you gonna tell the students?" -Bom asked

"I'll come up with something. Don't worry about it." -He assured her and she thanked him again. She went to Chaos Building and climbed the stairs leading to her room. She heard music coming from on her room

Minzy is probably doing her makeup.

Bom oppened the door and was surprised to see CL, Dara and Minzy sitting one their beds and laughing together.

I don't remember the last time all 4 of us did something together.

"Bom!" -CL said with a smile

"Come join us!" -Dara said

Who are they and what have they done to my grumpy bandmates?

"Is something wrong? Why are you back so early?" -Minzy asked

"Dae said that I can take the day off." -She said and the three girls exchanged looks

"He wouldn't have just done that for no reason." -Minzy said with a bitter chuckle

I forgot... she and Dae kinda hate each other

"Your makeup looks messy. Were you crying?" -CL asked as she stood up and approached Bom

Aish... I hate this.

"Nothing... I just remembered him." -Bom said and the girls knew who she was talking about. Without any hesitation, Dara, Minzy and CL all hugged Bom. She smiled, but tears streamed down her face

I miss this.... I miss them.

"Thank you guys..." -Bom said and all three girls smiled sweetly at her

"Are you alright now? If you need to talk, we--" -Minzy tried saying, but Bom shook her head with a smile.

"Now, come on... Our little Minzy finally found someone." -CL teased Minzy.

"YAH!" -Minzy scolded her and punched her with a pillow as the other girls laughed

"Really? You met someone?" -Bom asked

"Yeah, but it'snot as serious as Chaerin said it is. I just met him a couple days ago." -Minzy said and blushed and smiled

I don't remember the last time I saw her blush. This guy must be really special

"And all that thanks to me!" -Dara said

"Yeah. Thank you for letting strangers enter our university late at night." -Minzy said sarcastically and Dara laughed

"You did what?!" -Bom asked

"Sit with us. We'll explain everything." -CL said and Bom smiled as she nodded

Only they can make me laugh and feel this way...
