Chapter 63: Still Alive

Once GD, Taeyang, Seungi and Daesung were back from promoting their solo albums, they returned to teaching and mentoring at YGU while the girls were still on tour.

Days are passing by quicker now that all of us have been promoting. It's more relaxing when we're at YGU teaching.

-GD thought to himself as he and the guys sat together in the living room

"So... are you sure about this? I mean, we're already under a lot of pressure." -Taeyang said

"Yeah... We either suceed or we flop big time..." -Top said

"Maybe we should just end things like this... I mean, at least our last album was pretty successful. People will remember us by it." -Daesung said and GD chuckled. He knew that Daesung was mostly just scared of returning to stage after his accident.

"Our last album was pretty much a compliation of our solo songs. It wasn't BIGBANG." -GD said

"So what do you suggest?" -Seungri asked him

"I'm not sure... I think we need something new. Something different." -GD said and Taeyang chuckled. The others turned around an looked at him

"You know what would be really new? If we'd be ourselves for the first time." -He said and the guys seemed confused. Taeyang sighed

I kinda get what he's talking about...

"Think about it. Every album we came out with, we mostly focused on making it on the charts. We never really wanted to show the real BIGBANG. So I'm saying that we do that in this one." -Taeyang said and the guys nodded

"Yeah... Esspecially now with all that has happened to us. For the first time since our debut, we were going through all of that together." -Seungri said

"But what kind of message should we aim for?" -Taeyang asked and GD smirked

"That everyone should put away all the crap that they heard about us and just listen to what WE have to say in our songs." -GD said and the guys agreed with smiles on their faces

"That we have the same problems in life like everyone else." -Seungri said

"That all of these things that have happened to us just made us stronger!" -Daesung said proudly and then they all turned around towards Top, expecting him to say something since he was quiet the whole time. He just smirked and said:

"That we're still alive."

The guys smiled at each other

"This is really happening, huh?" -GD asked

"Yeah... This album will either sky-rocket us or complitely destroy us..." -Taeyang said

"It's all or nothing." -Top said

"So... Should we call up Choice?" -Seungri asked

"Actually... Since we want something new and different... how about we ask someone else to produce it? After all, Choice worked on most of our solo albums." -GD asked

"So Teddy it is?" -Daesung asked and GD nodded with a devilish smirk.

"But Teddy produced some of our old stuff. How is that gonna be new and different?" -Taeyang asked

"He was just as pressured as we were to make music that wil suceed on the charts. We'll just tell him to make the kind of beats that he'd like." -GD suggested and they contacted Teddy and arranged a meeting in his studio. They got in the studio and sat down with him and explained what kind of sound they wanted.
