Chapter 29: A New Generation

Bobby, Seunghoon, Mino, Hanbin, Taehyun and Seungyoon waited for their class with Top to start

He and Tablo will be working with us on improving our rap and music-production. Both of them are my big inspirations. I still can't believe this is really happening.

-Bobby thought to himself as he quietly sat in his chair. He glanced at Taehyun, Mino, Seunghoon and Seungyoon who were laughing together

I really hope Team B gets selected already. At this point, I'm not sure who I'm allowed to get close to... And Hanbin seems to strongly dislike me, for some reason.

The door oppened and Top entered the studio

"Morning." -Top said and the students greeted him back

"How many of your here are rappers?" -He asked and all the rappers raised their hands. Taehyun and Seungyoon just sat silently

"You two are here for studio production, right?" -Top asked the boys who didn't raise their hands and they nodded

"You're gonna be waiting for Tablo. The rest of you follow me." -Top said

Aw man! This is so exciting!!!

The rappers followed Top to a nearby music room. He sat on one of the chairs and just stared at the students for a moment

"Which one of you is the best?" -He asked and the students raised their eyebrows as they exchanged looks

"I am." -Hanbin said and Mino chuckled

"I disagree. I listened to some of your stuff and you're not that impressive, my friend." -Mino said to him

"What about...hmmm... Kim Jiwon?" -Top asked and Bobby suddenly got nervous

"I won't be saying wheter or not I'm the best. I'll show you that I am." -Bobby said and Top smirked

"Go ahead." -Top said and Bobby took a deep breath. Bobby made a short freesyle displaying his talent

"Very nice, Jiwon. Seunghoon, you're up." -Top said and Seunghoon seemed nervous. He freesyled well and Top nodded his head

"Good. Now, Tyson." -Top said to Mino with a smile.

Why does he keep calling him 'Tyson'?

Mino freestyled angirly.

"Impressive... And lastly, Mr. Kim." -Top said and Hanbin rapped passionetly:

"Very well. Class dissmised." -Top said as he got up from his chair. The students exchanged looks and smiled thinking he was joking, but he started leaving the room

"Prof. Choi... what about the lesson?" -Seunghoon asked

"What lesson? You can't teach someone rap. Esspecially already well-trained rappers. I was asked to see how well you would fit each team." -Top said

"Wait... so Team A isn't certain either?" -Mino asked

"Well, that's up to me and your other professors to decide." -Top said and left the room before the students could ask him anything more

They're just toying with us... I can't believe this.

The rappers regrouped with Taehyun and Seungyoon. They all then waited for Tablo. He oppened the door and smiled

"I'll be quick. If you all have any songs written or produced, let me hear them now." -Tablo said as he seemed to have been in a rush

Is anyone going to teach us anything?!
