Chapter 7: Bobby

Bobby and Junhoe were sitting together and waiting for the others to arrive. Bobby suddenly heard two girls who were giggling enter the common room.

Those are Lee Hi's roommates. Where is she, though?

-Bobby wondered and then he realized that the girls were whispering something to each other as they were looking at him. Then, the girl with long black wavy hair approached him. She and Junhoe exchanged looks, but quickly looked away

"Can I ask you for a favor?" -The girl asked

"Sure..."

"Well, our roommate should have been here by now, but maybe she got lost in the building. Can you please look for her?" -The girl asked

"S-Sure." -Bobby said with a smile

"Thanks." -The girl said and then returned to her friend who was giggling. Bobby got up from his seat, but Junhoe grabbed his shirt and pulled him back

What the?

"I wouldn't trust her if I were you..." -He said and Bobby shook his head and got up from his seat. He heard Junhoe sigh behind him. Bobby looked for Lee Hi in the hallway, but didn't find her

Maybe she's still in her room...

He walked to her room, which was right next to his, and wanted to knock. But he heard her talking to someone.

"I miss you..." -He heard her say

Is there someone with her?

"How is SM?" -He heard her ask

Oh, she's talking to someone on the phone.

He could hear much from the rest of their conversation. Only the "I love you" part which suddenly quickened Bobby's heartbeat.

Why do I feel jealous? Or when I see other guys being around her, I want to push them all away because she seems annoyed by them...

He was lost in his thoughts that he almost forgot why he came here in the first place. He knocked on her door and she quickly oppened it. He couldn't stop himself from smiling at her and his heartbeat quickened when she smiled back. He told her why he came and the two of them walked towards the common room together. During their walk, he wanted to ask her a thousand questions

Who was she talking to? Was it a guy? Does she have a boyfriend? Are they serious?

But instead, the two of them just smiled awkwardly at each other. When they arrived to the common room, she thanked him and then she joined her two friends and Bobby sat next to Junhoe.

"So did that witch mess with you?" -Junhoe asked, reffering to Hanna, but Bobby didn't respond. He was looking at Lee Hi who was laughing with Hanna and Soohyun. He smiled as he looked at her

"YO!" -Junhoe suddenly said as he appeared in front of him and Bobby stopped smiling

"Why are you ignoring me?" -Junhoe asked and then followed Bobby's gaze

"Oh, I see... You like the witch... Just so you know, she's really evil so I'd back off. You don't really like her... do you?" -Junhoe asked

"Wait... who the hell are you even talking about?"

"The witch that asked you for that favor earlier."

"Uh no." -Bobby said and Junhoe seemed relieved.

Do you like the witch, Junhoe?

-Bobby chuckled at his own question as he glanced at Junhoe. Then, CL asked all the students to introduce themselves, starting from number 15. Bobby kept glancing at Lee Hi and noticed that she smiled kindly at every student who was introducing himself/herself, until her roommate Hanna stepped in the center.

Lee Hi's face suddenly got pale and her friend Soohyun kept asking if she was alright. Hanna started walking back to her seat and Lee Hi suddenly got up and interrupted CL who was about to ask Junhoe to introduce himself

"Ms. Lee, may I please be excused?" -She asked and CL seemed confused but she allowed her. Without thinking twice, Bobby also asked to leave the room. CL hesitated, but she allowed him, as well.

He walked in the hallway and searched for Lee Hi

I hope she's okay... She didn't seem too well back there.

He finally found her holding onto a wall and breathing heavily. Bobby approached her slowly

"Lee Hi..." -He called her and she raised her head as she looked at him. Her eyes were teary. She swallowed hard and then ran up to him and hugged him tightly. Without any hesitation, he returned the hug

"I'm sorry... I just need someone right now." -She said

"It's okay..." -He said and he felt her warm tears dropping on his shoulder. After a couple minutes, she managed to calm down. He wiped away her tears

"Are you okay now? Can we go back?" -He asked and she nodded. The two of them entered  the common room and everyone was staring at them

"Is everything okay? Shall we continue?" -CL asked and both Bobby and Lee Hi nodded as they returned to their seats.

"Okay. Mr. Koo Junhoe. You're up." -CL said and Junhoe stepped in the center.

"I specialize in singing and dancing." -Junhoe said and glanced at Hanna who was looking at him, but he quickly looked away and then returned to his seat

"Song Mino." -CL said and a guy with spiked up hair rany towards CL, gently grabbed her hand and kissed it. Everyone, even Dara and Daesung, gasped in disbelief

The guy's got some balls.

CL blushed, but quickly moved away her hand and cleared her troat. Mino smirked

"I'm Song Mino. I specialize in rapping, producing and song-writing." -He said and blew a kiss to CL as he was walking back to his seat. The others laughed. Even CL couldn't hide her smile.

"Uh... next is... uh... Kim Jiwon." -CL said awkwardly and Bobby walked in the center

"You guys can call me Bobby. I specialize in rapping, song-writing, dancing and producing." -Bobby said and smiled at the others. He returned to his seat.

"Next: Lee Hi." -CL announced and Bobby quickly looked at Lee Hi who still seemed a little upset, but managed to fake a smile.

"Hi, I'm Lee Hi, though everyone calls me 'Hayi'. I specialize in singing and song-writing." -She said and quickly returned to her seat

"Next: Nam Taehyun."

That's the guy who complitely ignored me at the Greetings Ceremony.

Taehyun walked slowly towards the center.

"I specialize in singing, song-writing and producing." -He said without even looking at the other students and qucikly walked away

"And lastly, our number 1 ranked student: Kim Hanbin" -All the students quickly looked at the last student remaining. He didn't walk to the center. He just stood up from his chair

"I specialize in rapping, dancing, song-writing and producing. I prefer being called 'B.I'." -He said and sat down

"And that officially wraps up our introductions. The President has asked you all to meet him in his office tomorrow morning. By for now." -CL said as she, Dara and Daesung walked out of the building. Bobby wanted to approach Lee Hi and ask how she was, but before he could, she already left.
