Chapter 5: Taehyun

Taehyun stood outside the building which will be his new home. He heard GD telling him and the other 14 students that they will have to choose roommates

Ugh... can I be alone?

Then, all the students started talking to each other. One of them approached Taehyun

"Hi!" -The guy said with a smile and Taehyun just nodded

"I'm Seungyoon." -The guy introduced himself

He seems like the annoying type...

"Taehyun." -Taehyun said and faked a smile

"Sooo... do you have a roommate?" -Seungyoon asked

Oh my God... I really don't want to spend my time with this guy.

"Uh, no..." -Taehyun said as he tried walking away, but Seungyoon followed him

Shit.

"If you'd like, we can be roommates. I don't really know anyone here." -Seungyoon said and Taehyun sighed

Screw it.

"Sure..." -Taehyun said as he faked a smile again and Seunyhoon smiled

"Great! Let's go pick a room." -Seungyoon said as he started walking away but Taehyun grabbed his shirt

I'm already annoyed by him.

"Actually... you pick one. It really doesn't matter to me." -Taehyun said and Seungyoon nodded as he entered the building.

I should look for one of the professors and ask them if I can be in a room alone

Taehyun looked around and saw Top standing and talking to a girl. He took a better look and realized that the girl was actually Bom. She and Top were laughing about something. Taehyun approached them as he cleared his troath

"Prof. Choi..." -He said as both Top and Bom stopped laughing and looked at him

"Can I help you?" -Top asked

"I was wondering if there's a possibility that I can have a room by myself. You know... without a roommate." -Taehyun said and Top raised his eyebrow

"Why'd you want that?" -He asked

"Well... they're all really annoying." -Taehyun said and Top chuckled

"Kid, I had to sleep in one small bedroom with 5 annoying guys. You at least get to choose who you'll be sharing a room with." -Top said

"Sooo... is that a 'no'?" -Taehyun asked and Top rolled his eyes

"Kid, there's a limited number of rooms. Oh, and I think your friend over there is waiting for you." -Top said as he was looking at someone. Taehyun turned around and saw Seungyoon waving to him while holding a guitar case in his other hand

Great... as if he's not loud enough already.

Taehyun approached Seunyhoon who was smiling

"I picked out a room. I mean, it was the only one left." -Seungyoon said

"Whatever." -Taehyun said and walked past Seungyoon who seemed confused by his sudden mood swing

"I-I'm sorry... I just--" -Seungyoon started saying, thinking that Taehyun was angry at him for picking the last room

"Can you shut up? Please?" -Taehyun said and Seungyoon's smile quickly faded. He looked at Taehyun with both dissapointment and disbelief.

Shit... I didn't want to be an asshole.

Seungyoon grabbed his guitar case and walked past Taehyun, pushing him a little

Oh man...

Taehyun looked at Seungyoon who was leaving and he sighed

Crap. I don't even know which room we're in.

Taehyun quickly caught up with Seungyoon, but didn't know what to say to him. Seungyoon walked inside the room which was on the far end of the building. Next to them, there were two guys who already seemed to know each other well

Are they brothers? They look nothing alike, but they seem very close.

One of the guys noticed Taehyun looking at them and he approached him

"Hi! You're our neighbour right?" -The guy with spiked up hair asked and Taehyun nodded

"I'm Mino and this is my cousin Jinnie." -The guy with spiked up hair said as he gestured towards the guy next to him

So they're cousins.

"My name's Jinwoo, but Mino keeps calling me 'Jinnie'." -The other guy said and Taehyun smiled

"Who's your roomate?" -Mino asked

"Well, uh..." -Taehyun wanted to say something, but just then he heard something being thrown in his room. He, Mino and Jinwoo exchanged looks and quickly checked the room only to see Seungyoon violently throwing his things. Taehyun sighed

I didn't really mean to be such an asshole...

"Hey, uh... I'm really sorry for earlier... I just have trouble adjusting sometimes, I guess..." -Taehyun said, but Seungyoon wouldn't even look at him

What the hell am i even saying?

"Don't worry about it. I won't be annoying you anymore." -Seunyhoon said coldly and taehyun sighed

"I'm sorry. I--" -Taehyun wanted to say, but was quickly interrupted by Seungyoon

"I heard you asking the professors if you could have a room for yourself which explains why you were being so nice to me at first. you probably think I'm some sort of idiot or something because I was being nice towards you earlier. well now, I'll be an asshole and maybe you won't think of me as an idiot anymore."

What?

"I'm sorry. I don't know what else to say. okay?" -Taehyun said as he raised his voice a little

"That's your bed, by the way." -Seungyoon said as he complitely ignored Taehyun's apology and pointed towards the bed on the left side of the room

Screw it... i don't have the nerves to argue with him now

Taehyun started unpacking and then someone walked inside their room. It was Top

"Hey kid. You can switch roommates if you want." -top said to Taehyun and Seungyoon chuckled litely

"No. I'm fine here." -Taehyun said and Seungyoon glanced at him

"Okay then..." -Top said as he closed the door, but Taehyun could see bom outside waiting for Top

"You missed out your oppritunity." -seungyoon said in a irritated tone

"I didn't. look, I won't say this anymore, but I'm sorry about earlier. I was wrong about you." -Taehyun said and Seungyoon smirked

"Are we good?" -Taehyun asked

"Not really, but...ah screw it." -Seungyoon said as he got up and hugged Taehyun

Why the hell did he have to do that?

Seungyoon realize that Taehyun was uncomfortable so he quickly from away from the hug.

"Let's go. GD asked us to meet up in the common room once we unpack." -Seungyoon said

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. I think GD said he wants us to introduce ourselves or something.
