Chapter 43: Smile Again

Mino walked back to the others at the beach.

I can't believe her. I just can't believe she chose him. He will just hurt her again and then... she'll acknowladge me again. She'll be nice to me and be around me in order to make him jealous. After everything I've done for her, she still chooses that... that... Argh! I don't know what to call him. He never did or said anything to me, but I still... I hate him. It's unfair, but that's how I feel.

He saw the others still sitting around the fire. He was surprised to see even more students then before he left. When they noticed him, Bobby yelled out "Song Mino!" and the others cheered. Mino smirked and then sat next to Jackson. He took a good look of everyone that was there. He was happy that the students of all three companies were having a good time together.

He glanced at Taehyun who was sitting next to a girl.

Wait a minute... He's been talking with her for hours now. Is it possible that Nam Taehyun is in love?

-Mino quietly chuckled at his thought and Jackson noticed it

"Hey, man. Where were you a moment ago?" -He asked and Mino frowned

"Nowhere." -He said bitterly

"Did something happen?" -Jackson asked and Mino shook his head. He faked a smile to assure him, but Jackson still seemed suspicious

The others started singing a song, but Mino didn't pay much attention to it since he was humming another song. He glanced at Seungyoon who was playing the guitar

He showed us a song he wrote and it was pretty good, but we didn't have time to finish writing it since we had to leave for Jeju... But I think it will fit my current situation well.

"Seungyoon!" -He called him while he was playing and the others were singing. They all looked at Mino and stopped singing. Seungyoon stopped playing his guitar and raised his eyebrow at Mino.

"Yeah?" -Seungyoon asked

"Can you play that song that we wrote a couple days ago?" -Mino asked

"Empty?" -Seungyoon asked

"No. The unfinished one." -Mino said

"Smile Again?" -Seunghoon asked and Mino nodded. Seungyoon shrugged and cleared his troath. He strummed his guitar and sang:

I see you crying
You keep on trying
But you stay stuck behind his light

Jinwoo joined in:

Your tears keep falling
I hear you calling
there's more to you than what you hide

Taehyun sang while smiling at the girl who was sitting next to him:

You swear you are okay
but there's redness 'round your eyes
You're reaching out to me inside
His shadow keeps you trapped
I pull you in but you go back
try finding where you are
your smile is like a star

Mino started freestyling:

Go crazy
When I see you're hurt
It's always maybe
see your shirt
You're his joke
he's not seeing your true worth
What a jerk!
Feeling these feelings like I feel your pain
He picks you up then trips you all over again
Can't call him a man
he's on trial for breaking your smile

Seungyoon sang the chorus:

Won't you open up closed doors
and smile again?
you cried too many times but what for?
won't you smile again?
won't you live for a brand new day?
