Chapter 88: Baby Don't Cry

"And I'm back!" -Taeyag said as he opened the door of his car and quickly sat behind the wheel. Ther were still plenty of fans screaming and waving to him. Luckily for Bom, the windows of his car were tinted.

"The performance was awesome! I never knew theses underground competitions were so fun." -Taeyang said, but got worried when he didn't get a response from Bom.

"Bom?" -He called her and then looked behind only to see her in tears

"Bom! What happened?" -He asked in concern

"Can you... Can you please drive away from this place?" -Bom said, since the fans were still surrounding the car. Taeyang nodded and did as he was told. He parked the car on the side of a road and took a deep breath

"Are you going to tell me what happened?" -He asked

"Top... he sang for me. For the first time ever." -She said

"Wow... That's great, but I feel like that's not the only thing." -Taeyang said

"I'm not upset at him for what he did. But... this means that I will have to choose between him and my dad." -She said and Taeyang sighed

"Maybe you should first talk to your father." -Taeyang said and she shook her head

"I can't..." -She said and Taeyang raised his eyebrow

"Why not?"

"I don't want to lose him." -She  said and Taeyang sighed

"I know what kinds of horrible things he has done, but he's still my dad." -Bom said. Taeyang took out his phone and handed it to Bom

"Then call him. You can't and shouldn't run away from him." -He said. She hesitated, but eventually took the phone and dialed her father's number. Before it even rang, another call came to Taeyang's phone. Bom answered it

"Where is she?!" -She heard GD's nervous voice

"Jiyong..." -She said calmly

"Look, I don't care what she told you, but just tell me where she is!" -GD was still in panic

"Jiyong... I'm right here." -She said and heard him gasp

"Noona... Where are you?"

"Near downtown."-She said

"Listen, I'm begging you... Please put aside what happened and just go back to the lakehouse. At least only for a few minutes." -GD said and Bom smiled at her brother's concerned voice

"Okay. We'll be there." -She said calmly and heard him sigh in relief

"Thank you." -He spoke truthfully and they hung up. Bom returned to phone to Taeyang and asked him to drive them back to GD's lakehouse

1 Hour Later:

Taeyang parked his car outside of GD's lakehouse. He and Bom entered the cabin only to see CL, Dara and Minzy sitting down in the living room, looking concerned. As soon as the door shut, all three of them looked at the door in disbelief and gasped. They ran up to Taeyang and Bom and hugged them tightly which overwhelmed the two.

"GD, they're here!" -CL called GD who ran to them from the kitchen while holding his tablet. When Bom took a better look, she realized he was face timeing with Daesung and Seungri

"Bommie!" -GD said and hugged her tightly

"I've only been gone for a few hours..." -She said with a smile, but GD was still holding her tightly
