Chapter 62: Pricked

Taehyun arrivied earlier to the practice room than he should have. He could barely sleep since he was still shaken up about what happened the night before

I didn't just lose Hayi... I lost Wendy too. I'm a complete mess.

-He started getting angry again, but then took a deep breath

I came here 2 hours earlier than I should have since I needed a distraction from everything.

He started dancing the choreography that he and his bandmates have been working on for weeks. He practiced for half an hour straight, until he heard someone walking in the hall

Maybe someone has a schedule before us. But it's weird... I never see anyone leave when we get here.

Taehyun volumed down the music he was playing on the CD player.

"Seunghoon?" -He recognized Mino's voice

"Mino!" -Taehayun called him

"Tae!" -Mino called him a well which made them both laugh

We're acting like idiots...

Mino entered the practice room

"Hey, man. What are you doing here so early?" -Mino asked as he dropped his bag on the floor next to Taehyun's.

"I could ask you the same thing." -Taehyun said with a smirk and Mino seemed hesistant about anwsering

"I just need some time away from everyone and everything..." -Mino said and Taehyun chuckled

"What about you?"

"I have the same issue..." -Taehyun said

"Oh yeah, I wanted to ask you why you and Wendy didn't join us last night. We had a blast but it would have been even better if you two were there." -Mino said. Taehyun's smile quickly faded and Mino noticed it

"Did you two break up?" -Mino asked and Taehyun just nodded twice. Mino was speechless

"I... But you two were..."

"It's over now and it's for the best." -Taehyun said as he faked a smile

"What about your problem? Is it an ex?" -Taehyun asked and Mino chuckled bitterly.

"It's stupid. That's what it is." -Mino said and Taehyun rolled his eyes

"I said my reason, now it's your turn." -He said and Mino sighed

"You know... it sucks to break up. But what sucks even more is when you don't even get a chance to be with someone." -He said

I never heard him speak this way... He's usually goofing around with either Bobby or Seunghoon.

"Who's the girl?" -Taehyun asked, even though he had an idea in his head

"Hanna." -Mino said

Knew it...

"The one time that she wanted to be around me was when she was trying to make June jealous... That jerk never appreciated her. He had no idea how lucky he was to have her. But he treated her like she was nothing." -Mino said

I usually like the drama, but I actually feel bad for him...

"Guess we have something common, then." -Taehyun said and Mino raised his eyebrow

"I was in love with a girl who only saw me as a friend... She's the reason why Wendy broke up with me." Taehyun said and Mino seemed surprised
