Chapter 69: Wait For Me

"June! Get up, we have to go." -Junhoe was woken up by his mom

We're going to visit some of our family in Gyeonggi-do. I'd be lying if I said that I was excited since I'd prefer staying home and resting, but I know this means a lot to my mom...

He got dressed and walked inside the living room. Everyone was else was already dressed up and prepared to leave. They got inside their car and drove to Gyeonggi-do

"I heard that your classmate will be performing with Epicly Fives." -His dad said and Junhoe raised his eyebrow

"With who?" -He asked

"Epicly Fives." -His dad said and Junhoe laughed litely

"Epik High, dad... And which classmate?" -He asked as he raised his eyebrow

"Some girl. I think her name is Lee Hi." -His dad said as he was driving

Well, I'll be damned... As talented as she is, I never thought she'd be the first one to perform at such a big event.

Junhoe put on his headphones and started listening to "Goodbye Sadness, Hello Happiness"

I hate these kinds of over-emotional songs. I'd never even listen to it if it didn't remind me of... her.

After an hour long drive, they arrivied to ---. They visited some of his mom's family, but Junhoe got annoyed by them quickly

I need to get out of here.

"Hey, uh, mom... I'm gonna go for a walk." -He said while his mom was talking to his aunt and a few of his cousins

"They can go with you." -His aunt suggested as she gestured towards his cousin

Crap.

"Oh, no no... I'll just go out for a few minutes to get some fresh air." -He said and faked a smile.

He left his aunt's house and let out a sigh of relief

I'm so hungry, but I hate my aunt's cooking. I mighty as well go to the store and get something to eat.

He walked towards the nearest store which was 10 minutes away from his aunt's house. He didn't know the town all too well, but he knew some places.

He was about to cross the street to the store, when suddenly someone caught his eye. His mouth opened in shock as he stopped walking and looked at a girl with long black hair, who was across the street.

T-There's no way...

The girl was walking with a tall blonde guy and he could see that they were laughing. The guy would turn around, but the girl kept her back turned. But then, the girl turned around slighty, but enough for Junhoe to see her smile. His heartbeat quickened.
He shook his head to try and clear his vision

I'm probably imagining things. Why would she be in this town out of all the places in the world?

He tried to ignore it and not pay attention to them, but his kept gazing back at the girl. He sighed and then ran across the street. He followed them until they took a turn on one of the streets.
