I entered the door to the house, trying to be quite so I can go upstairs and into my room without any interruptions. I looked up to see almost all of my family crowded by the door. "Um... Hello." I said cautiously as I laid my keys and purse on the table. "What's going on?" I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. This was definitely not a normal thing for my family to be doing.

"Well? What are they?" Paisley asked impatiently. Everybody else was looking at me wide-eyed for an answer. Ah yes I remember those days of waiting by the door for mama to get home from her appointment and tell us the gender of our new sibling. Only this time, it is me who is producing a new family member- or two.

"I don't know what you are talking about." I lied, sort of like when I didn't want to tell people that I was pregnant. I began to walk up the stairs and I heard the many footsteps following behind me.

"The twins! What are they?" She yelled excitedly. "Am I going to have nieces?" She grinned uncontrollably and jumped a bit. I laughed, no you won't be getting those.

"I don't know." I turned around at the top of the stairs and almost ran into the crowd following me. "You guys are insane!" I teased as I rubbed my stomach as my little boys moved and wiggled around inside.

"Tell me! Tell me!" Little Emmy Lou chanted at my feet while holding her hands up for me to hold her. I'm not even sure she knows what's going on, she's just doing what everybody else is doing. I picked her up, which took a heck of a lot more effort than I remember.

"I can't tell you." I looked at her with a playfully stern look. I poked her nose and she giggled.

"Tell me please!" She laughed and batted her eyelashes while attempting a pouty face. I hate to admit it but she learned that face from me and knows that's how she can get what she wants. I'm afraid it's not working this time little girl.

"Hmm let me think..." I pretended to be thinking and then looked at her with a smile, "No." I finally said and I was the only one who thought that was funny as everybody else crossed their arms and sighed.

"Just tell us!" My twin brother Jessie shouted out. "What, are you never going to tell us?" He rolled his eyes and scoffed, "Yeah right." I crossed my arms and imitated his pouty look.

"Just maybe." I turned around and wobbled to my room shutting the door behind me and locking it. I sighed remembering my sonogram pictures are in my purse downstairs. I took a deep breath and unlocked the door, opening it slowly. To my surprise, no one was getting ready to mob me for an answer.

I hesitantly left my safe haven and walked down the stairs. I almost made it to my purse when I heard Paisley's antsy voice, "Please tell me. I won't tell anyone, not even mama." She begged with her hands clasped in front of her.

"Pais I'm sorry I'm not telling anyone." I really didn't see the harm in telling them but I liked to keep them guessing. It's kind of comical nonetheless. "Here you take this and look at it and you tell me what you think." I handed her the sonogram photo that to a person that knows what they are looking for would clearly see that it's a boy. However to my family, they'll think they are staring at two babies when actually they will only be seeing baby A.

She ran into the living room where all my siblings are and I followed, eager to see what assumptions they make. "Look I have the sonogram." Paisley yelled as they all circled around her. "Look they are girls." She excitedly said and I chuckled.

"Then what do you call that Pais?" I heard Jessie say to Paisley. I couldn't see them as all of my siblings and mother crowded them to get a glimpse of the ultrasound.

"I call that her arm." Paisley snapped back confidently. "And that's her foot." She said snootily like she knew what she was talking about. I pushed my way through my siblings to see what they were arguing over.
