Chapter 36

He pulled away from our kiss. Napailing sya na parang nanghihinayang. He held my face with his hands. He lifted my face up and I met his gaze. He was looking at me with so much love I felt it. "I don't know why I promised what I promised your mom. Baka hindi na 'ko makapag-pigil Maggie."

Natawa ako. "I'm excited for that to happen Ian," sabi ko.

Biglang nag-iba ang expression nya.

"Di bale Mahal. Pagbalik mo, we will do it," ako na ang nagsabi. "I will be ready when you come back, I will be ready for that," sabi kong kagat-labi.

Niyakap nya 'ko. "I love you Maggie. 'Wag mo 'kong iiwan ah." He was concerned.

"Oo naman," I assured him. "I will never."

He kissed my head. "Believe that I love you. I have been loving you. At kahit we're far apart, you'll always have my heart."

"Kanta yun ah!" biro ko.

"Huh? I don't know, but Mahal that's true, okay?"

Tumango ako.

He smiled. "At bukas dapat ihahatid mo 'ko kundi magtatampo talaga ako sa'yo."

"Oo naman. From what I understand, we'll all be there. Ihahatid ka namin," sabi ko dahil ihahatid naman talaga namin sya.

"Ikaw lang ang kailangan ko. Ikaw lang solb na 'ko."

"Naging bolero ka na ata Ian?" pansin ko.

Umiling sya. "I'm serious though. You need to be there tomorrow."

"Why wouldn't I be there ano ka ba? Nandun ako, nandun kami," ulit ko.

We had a full day. After watching the movie or not watching 'cause we made out for most of the movie, nag-arcade kami. We had late lunch after.

Ganito ulit katamis... I missed this. I missed loving like this and being loved like this. And this actually feels sweeter. 

"This has got to be my best day ever," he said habang sinubuan ako ng spoonful ng food nya. We were eating at a favorite restaurant. "Perfect day," he exclaimed. "'Cause you're perfect and you're perfect for me."

"Ang saya ko rin Mahal," I said. I hugged him. "You brought joy back to my life."

"And this will never change. Kaya dapat always communicate with me okay?" sabi nya.

"Skype and Viber everyday! Pati emails, chats, lahat!" pangako ko.

He kissed me again on my temple.

"Nakakarami ka na ah," pansin ko sa dami ng halik nya.

He smiled. "Grabe 'no, you're mine now and I can kiss you anytime I want!"

"And when you come back...," bitin ko sa kanya.

"Ugh Mahal! Don't remind me of what I'd rather be doing with you right now! I'm already regretting we're not married yet!" sabi nya.

"What?" natatawa kong tanong sa gulat.

"That's right. If it was up to me, tayo na. I mean tayo na talaga. Marriage. Yun na," he said holding both my hands. "Para sa'n pa 'tong charade na 'to. Alam ko namang tayo rin in the end."

I didn't realize na naluha ako sa sinabi nya. Nagkapag-asa talaga ako ulit na mag-mahal at mag-bigay ng sarili sa isang tao na ikakakumpleto ko.

We kissed again at kahit may mga taong nakakapansin sa'min I didn't care. Mahal ko kasi sya eh. At aalis na sya bukas. Kung pwede ko lang syang ibulsa at halikan kahit kailan ko gustuhin eh.
