Michelle was also at Bleu Plat, nicely, and when I say nicely I meant wholesomely, dressed in a black dress, beaming and blooming... with a guy. Sino 'to? Akala ko ba sila ni Ian? I automatically smiled at her kasi we know each other. In a way ako ang may kasalanan sa kanya, I was kissing his boyfriend.

She looked confused though. Papalit-palit ang tingin nya sa'kin at kay Aldrin, kung san naka-angkla pa rin ang kamay ko. Well, I'm equally confused. Is she on a date with another guy?

"Michelle," banggit ko lang ng pangalan nya to acknowledge her.

Hindi sya makapag-salita sa confusion nya.

"This is Aldrin, a friend," pakilala ko kay Aldrin. " And this is Michelle... and a friend?"

Ngumiti at tumango na si Michelle. "Ahh, okay," she said relieved. "This is Adrien naman," sabi nya. "Ade, si Maggie, workmate and college schoolmate."

The guys also said hello to each other. After, lumapit si Michelle sa'kin, "You look so beautiful Maggie. Sobrang bagay," she genuinely said.

"Michelle?" tanong ng kasama nyang si Adrien na niyayaya na sya paalis.

"Great seeing you Mags," ngiti ni Michelle.

Tumango lang ako. It was weird seeing her. I can't figure out her reaction: kung bakit sya confused, kung bakit relieved sya when I said Aldrin's a friend at kung sino ang kasama nya kung sila ni Ian. Baka talagang marami syang back-up? But seeing her with that guy, she seemed different, together, more mature, para ngang hindi sya. I hate this, pero mas gumanda and nag-bloom ata sya. Oh no, baka buntis nga sya?

"Earth to Miss Beautiful?" sabi ni Aldrin sa'kin. Nawala ako sa iniisip ko at napatingin ako sa kanya. "Our table's ready."

"Ah okay," sabi ko.

We were escorted to a beautiful corner in the restaurant overlooking their luscious outside garden where lights highlighted the beautifully landscaped flowers and vines.

"That's a good title for you, Miss Beautiful," Aldrin said when we were finally alone, again interrupting my thoughts. "Ikaw ang title holder nun."

"I'm already on a date with you Aldrin. Hindi mo na 'ko kailangang bolahin," ngiti ko sa kanya.

He studied me and smiled. "I will be the luckiest guy on earth if I will have your love," sabi nya without looking away.

Napayuko ako sa hiya.

He then held both my hands. I looked at him. "I really want to make this official Maggie," he said.

He's not bad. He's really not bad. He's gwapo, he's nice, he's funny and I feel comfortable around him. Attraction is there yes but... Yes, the attraction is there... Sige I can... Yeah, I can... Probably.

"Maggie I am courting you. Wala namang magagalit diba?"

Umiling ako. Unfortunately wala. Kasi may iba naman pala si Ian.

"So can I continue to court you?" he asked.

Tumango ako. I smiled at him.

"Your responses are cute," ngiti nya.

"Oo na nga," sabi ko.

He lightened up. "Tayo na?"

"Hold up," tawa ko. "Sa courting pa lang ako umooo. Don't be fresh."

"Ahhh, kala ko..." tawa nya. "'Kala ko tatalon at mag-sisisigaw na 'ko sa tuwa dito eh."

The evening progressed great. Aldrin was so quick-witted, funny and very different... Ayoko nang aminin sa sarili ko kung ano o sinong nakakalimutan ko 'pag kasama ko sya but I liked the time with him.
