I thought that maybe I could negotiate with Hannah for a different amount of money. Like, $10 or so? Ugh, what am I doing? She's not changing her mind any time soon. I needed someone to talk to. All of a sudden, I heard a knock on the door. Not my door. The downstairs door. I knew the guys would get it. I got up and off my bed and peeked outside as Luke made his way towards the door. He opened it and said, "Heyyy, how's it going, babe?" He hugged the person in the doorway which I'm guessing was that girl, uhh, what's her name again? Oh, Arzaylea! Luke's girlfriend. He let her in and I saw her for the first time in person. She was very pretty. I went back into my room. I knew I was going to be called back downstairs to meet Arzaylea. It was only a matter of seconds. "Nicole! Come downstairs please," called Calum. I rolled my eyes, opened my door for the second time, and walked downstairs. I assumed we were supposed to pretend like the argument we had before had never happened so that's what I did. I approached Arzaylea and she smiled at me. Luke said, "Nicole, this is Arzaylea, the girl you were talking on the phone with a few days ago." I was tempted to have attitude and say, "I know," but I had to be nice so when Arzaylea came in for a hug, I hugged her back. She said to me, "Hi, Nicole. It's nice to finally meet you in person. You know, I know I'm late to comment on this, but I saw your cover of that one song by Shawn Mendes and you have a beautiful voice. You should definitely make more videos. I'd love to hear you sing again. " I smiled back and said, "Thank you so much." I didn't know if she was trying to suck up to me after what happened on the phone and -- OMG. I get in so many arguments with people! I've just noticed that. I'm a drama magnet! Ugh! Anyway, Luke and Arzaylea sat on the couch and I went upstairs to my room again. I closed the door and grabbed my iPod. When I turned it on, I saw I got a text from an unknown number. Oh! I think Georgia got a new phone! She texted me, "is this Nicole?"

Nicole: yeah is this Georgia?

(------): No it's Carson

My heart sank for a moment. Carson's actually texting me. Did Hannah talk to him? Did she change her mind? No, it doesn't matter. What matters right now is that I finally have a clear path to talk to Carson right now and there's nothing in my way. I had to text him something back.

Nicole: oh. Did Hannah talk 2 u?

I had to seem calm in my texts so it seemed like I wasn't scared at all or else he'd feel uncomfortable.

Carson: yes. She told me u needed 2 talk 2 me.
