Chapter 1

DAY OF NICOLE'S B-DAY

"Come on, Nicole! You can do it!" Cheered Georgia. I was trying to blow out the candles on my cake but they wouldn't go! "CALUM! Why aren't my candles blowing out?" I looked over at Calum and he was snickering along with Michael. Ashton and Luke were filming. "What?" I said. Calum said, "Happy birthday, Nicole. They're trick candles! HAHA!" They all started laughing and I did too. After that, we ate the cake and Michael said to me, "Okay, Nicole. Your last present is hidden somewhere in the house. You and your friends have to find it in 60 seconds or else you don't get it." I raised my eyebrows and said, "60 SECONDS?? ARE YOU SERIOUS?" Then Riley said, "Come on, Nicole. We can do it. We'll all split up in different parts of your house and find it." I nodded and we organized where everyone was going to go. Then Calum started the clock and we all ran to our places.

Luke's POV

I laughed and said, "Those girls are precious." Calum, Michael, and Ashton agreed. "I FOUND IT!" Yelled Jessica. We all were shocked. Calum said, "Well that was fast."

Nicole's POV

Jessica had apparently found my present so we all met up downstairs to see what it was. Jessica handed it to me and said, "Wow. Pink wrapping paper. I wonder what it is." I opened it up a bit and saw a bit of glass. I looked at Ashton who was smiling. Just then, a sudden idea popped into my head of what it could be. And as I smiled from ear to ear, I said, "It's an iPod, isn't it?" They laughed and I opened it up fully to see a beautiful, clean, pink iPod Touch 6. I was so surprised! I thought they wouldn't get it for me! "Oh, my god!" I said, "This is awesome! Thank you so much!" I ran over to them and gave each of them big hugs.

At the end of the party, Jessica, Emma, Taylor, Georgia, Riley, and Chloe all got goodie bags and then left. I set my iPod up and got some new apps. Calum asked me, "So, Nicole. How did you like your birthday?" I replied, "I loved it, Calum! Thank you so, so, so, so much for everything!" I gave him another big hug and he said, "Well I'm glad you had fun, Nicole. We love you." I then said, "I love you too, Calum."

Okay, sorry it was lame, guys. I didn't even know that I had to end my other book so early. This chapter was just to start it off again. Hope you guys liked it!
