Chapter 64

After eating the cake, I went to my room to go get freshened up. I brushed my hair 'cause it was a mess, and then I went to the washroom and brushed my teeth. They just felt like they needed brushing. Especially after eating cake.

After that, I felt very refreshed and awake.

I then walked to Ashton's room and only saw Michael in there.

He looked at me and said, "Heyyy, Nicole. Have a nice, long nap?"

I smiled and replied, "Yeah."

He said, "Everyone was thinking you were going into hibernation after you passed 6:00." We both laughed.

"I'm not sure why I slept," I began, "I was watching How It's Made and --"

Michael interrupted me by his laughter. He said, "Wait, wait, wait. Hold up. You were watching How It's Made?"

"Yeah," I said, "Calum changed to it."

Michael continued to laugh. That's when Ashton walked in. "Hey, what's so funny?" Said Ashton.

Michael said, "Nicole fell asleep watching How It's Made."

Ashton started laughing too but I just stood there with an annoyed look on my face. Ashton said, "I've watched that before and it is really mesmerizing."

"And that's why I fell asleep to it!" I defended myself.

"Did you fall asleep to that woman's voice in the background?" Said Michael.

They started laughing and I just went over to Ashton's bed and sat down. They can say what they want to say. If they were in the same position as me on a comfy couch watching that specific episode, they would've been out like a light too.

When Michael got the PS3 set up -- which, by the way, I didn't even know they had 😒 -- I moved farther back onto Ashton's bed as Michael and Ashton sat on the edge, their backs facing me. I was laying down with my head on Ashton's pillow.

I had my iPod in my back pocket so I pulled it out and began to play on it.

After 5 minutes, I could already hear Mike and Ash trash talking each other.

"Imma kill you, I swear," said Ashton.

Michael replied, "Just try, I'm just going to beat you again." I didn't even know what they were playing.

I looked up from my iPod and tried to look past Michael and Ash 'cause they were in the way of the TV. Looked like they were playing Call Of Duty. I didn't care much. It wasn't a game I was interested in.

Anyway, I was on my iPod for like, 15 - 20 minutes. It was at 20%. iPods don't say the specific percent it's at. Only iPhone's do, I think. The only thing you can tell is that if the whole bar is white, it's at 100%, and if your bar is empty with a little red on the end of it, it's at 20%. You get what I mean?

Michael and Ash were waiting for their game to load until Michael's phone started ringing. He stood up and said, "Pause it when it's done loading," to Ashton. He then answered his phone while pacing in one spot in the room.

Ashton turned around to look at me and I felt his finger slide up the palm of my foot. I jerked my feet back, bending my legs. Ashton said with a nod of his head, "Whatcha' doing there?"

"Just playing," I replied.

He then slithered up the bed backwards and leaned back laying down right beside me. A whiff of a beautiful aroma made my stomach feel happy inside. 😊 It smelled like Axe body spray. I knew for a fact that it was Ashton. Dang, that boy smelled good! I felt the urge to tell him that.

I smiled and said, "Wow. You smell really good, Ashton," realizing immediately after I said that how weird I sounded. Ashton didn't seem to mind though.

He smiled and said, "Thank you, Nicole."

"You're welcome," I said as I looked back at my iPod.

Michael finished up on the phone and said, "Okay, I'm ready."

I expected Ashton to move back to the edge of the bed but instead, he just stayed in his spot laying down beside me.

And guess who else joined the party. Right before they unpaused the game, Michael shimmied up on the other side of me and said into my ear, "Hi, Nicole."

"Hi, Michael," I said. Then they started playing their game again. But the thing is, I wasn't planning on moving any time soon despite the fact that I was being crushed. I didn't move for one simple reason, and that reason was that Michael smelled equally as good as Ashton! It was just an aroma of beautiful smelling boys by my sides and it felt so peaceful.
