Chapter 43

"Wake up, Nicole. Come on, wake up," I heard Luke's voice say. I looked around and I was laying on my bed and I had just woken up from a nap. I guess I must've fell asleep while texting Jessica, Taylor, and Emma. I checked my iPod and saw a whole bunch of freaky texts.

Emma: NICOLE! EARTH TO NICOLE

Taylor: she probably left

Jessica: Without telling us? Grrrr... NICOLE ANSWER US RIGHT NOW

There were tons like that. Luke said to me, "I came to your room and heard chimes coming from your iPod like crazy. Your friends were wondering what you were doing." I replied, "I just fell asleep. I didn't even know I was tired."

Luke: Well that's odd. Anyway, it's time for dinner.

Nicole: I don't really wanna eat.

Luke: Why not?

Nicole: I'm not hungry.

Luke: Well you have to eat dinner. Come downstairs when you're ready.

Nicole: Fine.

Luke left my room and I sprawled on my bed wanting to stay there forever. I was soooo comfy. I did not want to move but I knew I had to. So I laid there for a few more seconds and then I checked my iPod for all those texts. There were at least 20 of them but they were from hours ago because they must've given up after awhile. I decided to answer them quickly before going downstairs for dinner.

Nicole: I'm so sorry guys. I didn't even notice that I fell asleep while texting u! Lol I have 2 go eat dinner now but I apologize for making u guys worry so much. But 20 texts? Come on people!

I was going to wait for a text back just for a few seconds in case they text back right away and before I turned off my iPod, Taylor said something.

Taylor: did u read all of them?

Nicole: u mean the texts? No I just counted how many there were cuz it looked like a lot

Taylor: Emma said she knew someone who u could make Matthew jealous with. Personally I think making him jealous isn't the way 2 go but it's ur choice

Nicole: I didn't really wanna force a relationship with anyone but who did Emma say?

Taylor: well she didn't give me a name

Nicole: oh that's good. Does she have pics cuz I'm gonna need 2 see what they look like

Taylor: well idk if she has pictures  maybe Emma will read these txts later and send some pics to u

Before I could answer, Luke came back into my room and snapped at me. He was all like, "Nicole, I told you to come down for dinner. Get off your iPod. Come on." I sassily said back, "Okay, fine," and he walked out.

Nicole: I have 2 go eat dinner Taylor but I'll text u after. ttyl

I turned off my iPod not waiting for a response and I went downstairs. I sat at the table and Calum saw me and said, "Yo, sleepyhead. Pasta or chicken?" I playfully glared at him and then replied, "Pasta." Michael then said, "Pasta, please," correcting my manners. I repeated what he said and Calum gave me pasta in my plate. As Calum, Michael, Luke, and Ashton talked, I was thinking about these two boys Emma thought of. A few questions went off in my mind. I got some answers for a few of them but not all of them.
